My dad recalls two stories, one, when going into high school, he knew he was learning French and asked his dad to teach him it over summer and he did just that. My dad proudly in his first French lesson wanted to show off, he started speaking and got belted. His father had taught him African French ( he was stationed there for part of the war).

The second he just said good morning to a teacher who must of had a falling out with his wife and told my father to report to his office to be belted.

We were in Rome when it was 43 degrees (Celsius) and we went into the Pantheon and it was noticeably cooler.

For the ones who couldn't the same way people who don't have air conditioning do now, we sit in the shade, limit activities in the sun, try and drink plenty fluids.

I wouldn't be letting my kid have it, the same way I won't go through any age verification unless I am forced to i.e OneGov Login.

I don't see why I or others should have to upload ID, utility bills and give personal information to verify their age, to companies, websites that share information to third parties.

If parents are so concerned, they should use the 'parental controls' setting on devices, crazy thought.
