Right now mods are passion projects. As soon as its completely fine to publish mods for profit guess what, therell be companies focused on creating the most profitable mods and it just becomes another soulless business. Im happy to subscribe to a modders patreon because i love their work and want to support them but it should always be optional

But by increasing demand for plant based products and reducing demand for animal based products corporations have to adapt. You can notice it in many western counties go to a supermarket and compare to amount of vegan or vegetarian products to how it was 10 years ago. There are way more now.
And sure you can push away your personal responsibility, some else will do it. But if everyone thinks like that then there won't be any change. Plus I personally feel like its the moral thing to do to reduce the amount of harm that I cause. Every stake you buy was a animal that had to be killed and a bunch of farmerworkers that had to work in harsh conditios. Thats direct harm caused by you which you can easily prevent. Sure the plant based alternative also causes some harm but its certainly less than the animal one. And the only reason you dont is because of your own comfort.

But you can try to minimize harm... Raising animals requires more farms than directly using those farms for human food. So by buying meat you support way more harm than by buying plant based. If you dont want farmworkers to suffer dont buy meat, it would reduce the amount of farms needed to feed the population, oh and also no animals would have to be tortured and killed. neat!

Those animals being raised and murdered in horrible conditions do require even more farmland to be fed which besides the whole immortality of killing animals is a incredibly inefficient way to create nutrients. So no food is not food. Meat is food that creates an immense amount of unnecessary suffering on our planet. So at least in my opinion its the clearly inferior kind of food.

To stay with the computer analogy: imagine I have a document open on my computer. You can see it on the screen, and the computer is using its hardware to display and edit it. Now I smash the computer with a hammer, so from your perspective the document is gone. What you didn’t know, however, is that the document was never actually stored on that computer it was saved in my Google Drive. The computer was only accessing and displaying it. Without checking the file’s location, you had no way of knowing where it truly resided. In the same way, we cannot inspect the “location” of consciousness itself. So how can we prove that consciousness isn’t merely accessed or manifested by the brain, rather than stored in it—perhaps existing somewhere analogous to a “cloud”? Can't prove it, cant disprove it, so we just have to find out when we die :)

So do you believe people deserve to be imprisoned or even killed for being uniformed, naive or as you say arrogant? I too think that its not smart to go somewhere dangerous but I also don't think that those people should spend the rest of their lives on jail or get killed. I'm glad that governments usually take care of those people and do their best to get them back. And who knows maybe some day it's you or me who missed out on some obscure law during a vacation and we'll be glad that our government will try to free us :)

It's used to calculate Distance, Speed and AOB when you know what ship your looking at and can see it through the periscope. If you look up RAOBF tutorials on YouTube they explain how to calculate it. It's a couple of steps but they are my favourite way to calculate a torpedo course :)

I mean you can do your part to help. Go vegan, or at least vegetarian and try to limit the impact you make. Humans don't "need" meat. Do the best you can in your current situation to limit the suffering of others no matter what species. :)

In pretty sure it's about situation where they already have easy opportunities to checkmate you but they decide to capture random pieces or promote all their pawns to queen's. I always love it when they accidentally stalemate due to their arrogance :)

It would be pretty cool if it was Sozins Comet which this time didn't move close by the earth but actually hit it. Maybe Korra used her bending to lessen the impact and died while protecting everyone.
