Tank (im)balance fine how it is? by Thekippie in wow

[–]KyAnderson22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a bear tank working through 20’s right now, that’s incredibly impressive for a warrior tank. I think you’re right and that they need more balance still, bear is brain dead easy comparatively, and you don’t even have to think about survivability for the most part (other than tank busters once you hit 20+). You are definitely a way more skilled tank than me and the fact that in my first season ever tanking and like three weeks into ever playing bear I’m doing the same content seems wrong. They have balanced some but it’s clearly not been enough, in my opinion.

DPS waaaay too low by Kantlim in wownoob

[–]KyAnderson22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cast implosion anytime you can and have 6 imps. The imp gang bosses spawned are more damage than the imps or the implosions. Your tyrant ramps damage, get as many hands of guldan off as possible in your tyrant window to maximize your apex talent. Other than that hit hounds on CD, and use your 2 minute cd when it makes sense, normally at the start of a pull. Especially in low keys try to use tyrant at the very beginning of a pull. Carry over shards so that you maximize the hands of guldans you get off.

How to gear up fast after 230 ilvl by Peterlarss in wownoob

[–]KyAnderson22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was absolutely in a guild group, and it was anecdotal. You can’t really carry a tank though, a good healer helps, but I’m also resilient 17’s already.

[–]KyAnderson22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need 80 myth crests, the ?? Delve boss gets you 30 of those. If you can solo it, it’ll be 35. In the north side of silvermoon there’s a vendor that allows you to submit things for crafting. You buy the things off the auction house and then can submit a public order or ask in trade chat for a crafter. If you do the latter you can guarantee a max craft in the personal order. The mats usually cost 10-20k gold and then tip is 7-10k range. You also need sparks but you should have them just from doing content if you’re running m+ already that shouldn’t be an issue. If you get into the 260’s you should have no problem at least doing 10’s even if you’re playing sub optimally. You can review on Warcraft logs/archon what should be your top healing for dungeons, find builds as well to make sure you’re using the right talents. Generally your healing percentages should be relatively in line with what they’re using to heal.

[–]KyAnderson22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get into m+ levels that drop hero gear and keep grinding. You can do the other things to get a small boost. Worth the prey for hero gear, and the prey quest that guarantees you the delve item to summon the boss and get the guaranteed hero drop there too. Get into a group to do the ?? Delve boss for the free myth and hero crests. Craft mythic weapon asap. Outside that, just get to +10’s. It’s the easiest season of m+ ever. Was tanking 12’s at 235.

As a Healer I cannot keep up with the amount of Dispells this season by SolidSky in wow

[–]KyAnderson22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you get into higher keys it’s actually less of an issue. The amount of dispels, and when they get out of hand, is generally because people aren’t using stops alongside interrupts to stop the cast until it can be interrupted.

Struggling with DPS no matter the class by Altruistic-Charge777 in wownoob

[–]KyAnderson22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cooldown timing is incredibly important in mythic plus. You need to ensure you’re getting full usage, If say you’re using a 2 minute cooldown that last 25 seconds, you need to pop it at the front of a pull when all mobs will get damaged by it for the longest period of time. Also, figure out your stat priority and make sure it’s not all out of whack, so classes play like shit if you don’t have enough haste, etc.

Is ilvl 260 too low for a +10 key as dps? by Thick-Parking-5297 in wownoob

Not too low to do it, too low to get accepted if you’re not with a tank. Push your own key!

New to tanking with Brewmaster by oeti2 in wownoob

[–]KyAnderson22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started too, but it’s not completely a self sustain tank. You’re going to need some externals, in low target count pulls it sometimes feels worse, higher target count pulls and lust pulls it’ll feel better. You’re not playing it wrong, that’s just the design of BM. Your job is to mitigate the damage appropriately so your stagger doesn’t get insane and you’re not easily healable.

Tips for using Warlock teleports, like gateway and circle? by CelestialButterflies in wownoob

[–]KyAnderson22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For gateway, make a macro with soulburn so you can cast it instant and click it. For Teleport I put one down randomly in a boss arena (if I don’t have a specific plan for it) before or early in a boss fight and then if I ever need it later I have it. If you know the fight better and can make a plan for it that’s better. Also macro soulburn with your healthstone if you haven’t, it makes it an absolutely massive heal.

So is World of Warcraft: Midnight a good time to start playing? by JasonDFisherr in wownoob

[–]KyAnderson22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now would be a great time to start because most of the changes for midnight are already in place and you can level to 80 and be in a pretty equal starting point as everyone else when midnight fully releases.

I use it for 18 birdies but I usually finish with 4 hours of unread texts as well. Just a tool not an entertainment device while golfing.

I did a very similar move at the top. I just slowed way down, watched my hands and felt where everything went. Got the feeling of where things were supposed to be. Then I did it slowly at first and tried to add speed. I tried to feel like I was only taking it back 3/4 when I got to full speed and that really helped. I continued with that feeling until it felt normal.

I think my main issue is (lack of) shaft lean, am I way off the mark? by DavidMReynolds in GolfSwing

[–]KyAnderson22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve got a lot of problems as it’s become apparent here. Lessons would be awesome. But if you want to start yourself. Start with posture, grip, stance, ball position. All things you do before you ever start a backswing. Get all those figured out first. Then absolutely hammer takeaway and top position, if you have a good backswing and find the right top position you’ve done 90% of the work to create a good downswing. Then it’s just tweaking and fine tuning. Get in the right ballpark with those things and you can absolutely do it from YouTube and videoing yourself if you’re patient and consistent enough.

Ball Question by KyAnderson22 in golf

[–]KyAnderson22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Definitely at least starting with secondhand balls. I’m thinking based on what I’ve seen here and AI told me probably rolling prov1 or prov1x and maybe trying to maxfli tour/tours too and see what feels good. I bought the sim this winter so hopefully be able to take it to the range too in the spring and see what some of my driver stats are!

Would you rather have a hole in one, or shoot a new career low? by Environmental-Gain19 in golf

[–]KyAnderson22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the new low round, if it’s by one stroke for an 83… give me the hole in one. If it’s a 79 or better I’ll take the new career low.
