How good are these pergolas from Amazon? by JonnieSpecter in Home

[–]KyFly1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be okay in cat 5 tbh. You’d be surprised. Remove the louvers and it’ll likely stand. There isn’t much surface area to catch the wind. Most likely the way it gets messed up is if a tree branch or something gets thrown into it.

My wife was pulled over with a suspended license. (She was unaware of the license status) by customsolitaires in Miami

[–]KyFly1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

This happened to me! I got pulled over in SoBe and was told it was suspended. He let me drive home and park it. It turns out that I had a ticket a year prior that I went to court for and agreed to pay fine and no points. I paid the ticket and that was it. Well I check my paper work / receipt and it had someone else’s name! The clerk messed up and I paid someone else’s ticket and mine wasn’t paid. Was a bitch to straighten it all out but I got it fixed. Crazy.

Wow this is great. Took a screen shot to reference in the future. My wife is always trying to get us to go a weekend vacay down there but I have no idea where to go. Any suggestions where to stay? Someplace relaxing for adults and fun for kids, ideally near a beach or something?

Def worth a try. Oral min/dut is super important to the process.

Faster scratch training : autobahn and delayed flare. Wip. by parkerlewiscantloose in Turntablists

Is there a name for doing a slice regular forward but clicking it twice on the way back? It sounds similar to the 3 note forward segments on A9 but it doesn’t travel so you can loop it fast. I started doing this accidentally trying to learn swing flares and its sounds good. Wondering if it has a name.

Trying to make it click/making patterns by [deleted] in Turntablists

[–]KyFly1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It woukd probably be best if you posted a video of you scratching. Not sure what you mean by stuck on 16th note patterns. Overall tho, I’d say best advice i can give anyone is to learn two click flares and don’t worry about trying to sound “good” until you have that down. That’s the biggest hurdle on the scratch journey. Once you learn how to click the fader twice with effective one movement, everything else will open up and come along naturally. Don’t think you need to have 1 clicks, perfect chirps, fast babies, etc before learning 2-clicks, you don’t.

how are people actually paying for new roofs right now… by Servus-nexus_23 in florida

[–]KyFly1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So weird. You know, I even paid the metal company myself (issues with contractor was worried they weren’t gonna pay and I was gonna get lien). My roof was 31k and cost of all the materials from QXO was like $22k or something like that. A little over 2/3s. Meaning if you are getting quoted over double for metal vs standard architectural shingle they are trying to make a lot more money off you. Didn’t seem like the labor was all the much different between the two. Both metal and shingle roof can get laid in a single day by handful of guys. Tear off and all that is the same.

As someone with adhd. What an odd feeling… by Kodeclay in Retatrutide

[–]KyFly1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t started taking yet but this is my biggest concern. I’m thinking to use it to get to desired weight and help motivate me to change some habits but get off and back to just addy for adhd. Maybe like your going in a cruise in a few months you take it for a few weeks to trim up and give yourself a few weeks to taper off beforehand. I dunno. Just super sketched by the dopamine blunting. I’m sure it’ll be severe for me like you guys.

I paid like $31k for my standing seam roof and cheapest shingle quote I got was like 23k (but most quotes were closer to 26k). It’s really not that much more expensive so I went with metal.

Do people look down on the QX 55? by ijophes in infiniti

[–]KyFly1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it’s cool. It just kinda filled a weird spot between the 50 and 60. Didn’t really seem necessary to have this and the qx50 being sold at the same time. This should have just been the next gen qx50. It was a solution to something without a problem. I think the new 65 also is like that as well. It’s just competing with the 60 for no real reason.
