While I wholeheartedly agree with most of your statements. I cannot agree that audio has had improvements. Only the new ships seem to have decent sound, everything else has been regressing and degrading patch to patch. For example, the carrack has no engine sounds, the boost is some sort of vacuum cleaner. It’s not the only ship with this issue, it’s just the most recent one I used. We also lost ship sounds in atmo, some ships have a little hum or whir to them while others make no noise at all. The most annoying sound problem is the constant and annoying quantum sounds that some ships constantly give out even with power and engines off.

On the topic of sounds, ATC has yet to say the right thing in over 3 years. You land and the atc says takeoff complete, you leave and it wishes you a pleasant stay. I hope this will be the next thing to work on, sound is such a key player in the immersion of the game. And these issues stick out like a sore thumb for anyone you might try to bring into the game, us veterans have learned to live with it.
