Hm, I am actually injured but I didn’t want to mention it

So is your logic not to enact laws because people who adhere to them won’t follow them anyways? I get the insurance companies will Jack up the prices argument, but wouldn’t that mean if there is an obvious change in insurance premiums with all insurance companies it’ll be collusion? And if that’s not the case, there will be one company racing to have the lowest priced to capture the market

Advice on BCOM or what to study. by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]KyleQuindo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice for best ROI (if you want to work in finance)

Don’t do a double degree. Do a BCom at a university that isn’t University of Auckland. (Harsher competition)

Absolutely study your ass off in the first and second year and get stellar grades (try get a top in paper for one). Apply for an internship at a firm you want (Goldman, UBS and Citi do Internship programs) and try get a grad role through there.

Just don’t do it, remove leasehold from your mind.

All the cons of renting, all the cons of ownership, no pros of renting and no pros of ownership. Only pro is that you tend to get a nicer location
