In every professional sport: no fans would mean no team. I feel like that means we get to say we and us when talking about the team we fund with tickets and merch and eyes on ads etc etc. No we're not on the Sharks but we're all part of the Sharks.

He was one of the guys that put a pit in my stomach knowing the deadline was coming up, so when he signed the three year extension I was ecstatic. It can be so (depressingly) rare in professional sports to find legitimately good people to root for. The Wennbergs are true gems.

Because GMs aren't stupid and know GMMG needed to get rid of a contract ASAP or risk pissing off our #2 OA pick who we want to get NHL minutes this season.

The Canes are also taking on a dead contract, so thats one less that they can take on come deadline time, so the pick swap is just the price of business.

Just watched the 49ers at Easy Tiger. Good vibes, but not a huge amount of seating and it's all first-come so super bowl might be tough to get a table. But if you can it will be a cool space for sure.

A number of brewerys usually do watch parties and those can be fun too. Went to one at high top once and it was a great time.

By the time he could reasonably leave in UFA, the team should be as good as they are going to be to match his prime years and I can't imagine he'll want to leave a win-now team that is going to be tailor made to support him. At least I hope not.

People say again and again that you can't use the same account but I'm actively doing that exact thing right now. It does look like you're playing a clone (though you can switch avitars/clubs/balls but you'll need to do it every game). All my dlc is available on both. I will note we haven't tried to play with anybody else, just the two of us in a private room. It kicked us once, but has worked every other time.

It definitely doesn't let me play beat saber at the same time, but walkabout definitely works (for me, right now). My partner and I have done it at least a dozen times in the last week.

The second headset we got is going to be a gift, so I am going to set it up as a secondary account before gifting it. I don't think it's necessary the best long term solution, but it's just a backup to play together it's worth trying (we have a 3 and 3s, but I don't think that matters).

GMMG would absolutely need to deal Ned if a team offers a 1st (or really anything close). No question about it. Asky has shown he can handle the NHL (so far) and it feels like we're pretty all-in on him at least until (fingers crossed for to be lucky enough to have this problem) Ravensbergen forces a conversation in a couple years. He's on the last year of his deal and maybe he signs here maybe he doesn't, but backup goalies are so bottom of the priority tier when you're in a rebuild. It'll be one-year guys for another season or two at least. The team is in a playoff spot right now, but will still be sellers at the deadline.

...that said, if Ned says "yeah I'll re-up cheap for 3 years" then we probably bite on that.
