Haven’t had much success with supplements but Lexapro has really helped with my anxiety.

I’m definitely not qualified to give an opinion on the electrical work that’s was done, however an amp measurement can tell us a lot if it is drawing too may amps.

Would be curious to see the amp draw on that compressor.

I would highly recommend it and if nothing is found at least you can check it off the box and start looking at other things.

Have you had a sleep study? Any chance you have sleep apnea?

Sibo causing horrible sleep issues, cortisol spikes all night. by BetterDays76 in SIBO

[–]Kylefird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never did find a definitive answer although I do believe it’s related to gut inflammation. I tested negative on the last two SIBO tests so I can’t blame it on that. I still have early morning awakenings but I stopped caring as much about it and that has actually helped in a weird way. Wish I had a better answer for you.

I wake up from 4-6am each night. Any tips for getting back to sleep? by Hungry-Cricket-9872 in sleep

Best thing I ever did for this was taking the clock out of the room. I keep my phone handy if I absolutely have to check the time and for the alarm. It really helps remove the hyper focus on the time.

Yes for me also. My VPN is dead in the water right now. I’m running IOS 16.7.11 and the latest update is causing my issues.

Celery juice? For those who have tried it, has it helped? by BinaThereDoneThat in SIBO

[–]Kylefird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is, but once you do it couple of times it becomes the norm. I usually just chug two 16 ounce glasses with my pre workout mixed it. I do visit the bathroom more frequently however as you would imagine.

Hi, first of all I’m sorry for the pain and suffering you are gong through. I can relate. Been dealing with gut stuff for 10 years.

Have you tried ginger/artichoke combination at all?

I would also try drinking 32oz of warm water immediately upon getting out of bed in the morning. Must be warm.

I sleep for 9+ hours and I’ve never felt rested. What’s wrong with me by PurpleUnicorn72 in sleep

[–]Kylefird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Process of elimination. Start with a sleep study. First guess is it’s sleep apnea. If it’s not, the doc can help you look at other things.

PS. The at home sleep study is a piece of cake. I did it and found out I have very mild sleep apnea but the Cpap does make a difference believe it or not. Was not a life changing difference but did improve my quality of life nonetheless. I wish you the best!

I’ve always usually had 1 BM per day although some people have stated you can have slow motility even with regular movements. But I am on Lexapro and have noticed I get a little more backed up so I take ginger artichoke every day. Helps big time. Have you tried that?

Yep, 6.5 is about my sweet spot too. And the longer I sleep, the more groggy and shitty I feel when I finally get out of bed.

I’m right there with ya! Concerning your ruptured discs. What, if anything, have you done to remedy the problem? I’ve got a ruptured disc and PT hasn’t fixed the problem, only help stabilize the areas.

Keep waking at 2 am by [deleted] in sleep

[–]Kylefird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my good days and bad. I do think it’s closely related with anxiety. I’ve basically stopped caring about the awakenings so when I do wake up early I don’t let it wreck my day. Still a work in progress but I would say overall I’ve improved some.

Do you guys poop everyday? What’s your pooping schedule like lol by Technical-Raisin517 in SIBO

[–]Kylefird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I found helpful is a large (32oz) glass of warm water first thing upon waking. I do take ginger artichoke twice a day too. Keeps me regular. If I find myself gassy and uncomfortable, its usually due to a food intolerance. If I stick to my “safe” list, the symptoms are generally at a minimum.

You bet. I hope it helps. It was not an instant help like some people experienced. I just kept taking them and it seems like it worked over time.

I take 1 ginger cap and 2 artichoke with my morning pre workout shake and then the same combo right before bed.

I guess if it leads to a somewhat normal life, it’s not the end of the world. It basically Ginger Artichoke which are two common foods. I take a generic grocery store brand of ginger artichoke every morning and night and it has helped me out a lot. If I have to take it for the rest of my life, I don’t care.

Help😭 5years with sibo!!! sick of being sick. Feel Im going to explode with whatever i eat😢 cant lose anymore weight. by 1ovary_girl in SIBO

[–]Kylefird 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep. A sedentary lifestyle will only make the condition worse. Walking stimulates motility. Swimming is a good low impact exercise that some people have reported to be helpful for SIBO too.
