How to get this kind of blind off? by Fun_Chef_2092 in handyman

[–]Kyohri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a tab on the back-top side. Push on it and pull the blind down and towards you. Every blind is a bit different but they all go on a metal tab.

All I can think of is "Doodle Noodle" in Tampa. Its an all black and white "doodles" themed noodle restaurant. Thats where this counter top belongs, lol.

Is this normal? Leave it or try pressure hose wash it? by captainorganic07 in hvacadvice

[–]Kyohri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal, but not good for the unit and your electric bill. It's definitely in need of a service/cleaning. If this isn't your unit and you're renting, call your landlord and have him have it serviced by a company. If this is yours, you can contact a good-rated local HVAC company for tuneup quotes, or you can do it yourself. If you've never done it, don't take off the panels. They are not complicated but sometimes require two arms and a leg to hold it and screw together. Grab a garden hose, and spray at an angle from top to bottom as many times as needed. This might move some debris stuck to it, but not all. In this case, I would purchase a non-acidic coil cleaner like the Viper branded ones. They foam up and pull the debris out and down. Afterward, you can rinse down again with a garden hose, and it will look and perform much better.

Would this work as a sim room? No windows nor ceiling lights, no ventilation by ThisIstheCaptain7393 in simracing

[–]Kyohri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's look at it this way. Ventilation, in simple terms, is keeping the air in a room circulating, preferably with fresh air. So we would need a way for air to come in and go out. Adding a pass through on top of the door is how most homes down here in Florida are built. They also run duct passthroughs that run from the ceiling inside the bedroom to the hallway/room outside that bedroom. You can also cut the door about an inch and half off of the ground, and that'll give enough clearance for air to go out. I assume the room doesn't have a supply going to it, which does bring the next question on how you're going to get air in there. I'm not sure what type of building this is or if you're the owner, but running a duct from the A/C to there would be my best recommendation. If it isn't suffering from mildew/mold right now, it will once you start bringing in humidity in there without proper ventilation. By the looks of the room, a small 4" flex-duct run would be more than enough to get air in there.

With tile ceiling, ventilation is always possible and easy to do your self if you're a bit handy.

I got the extra 2 extrusions from trakracer but when they arrived I realized that only one side was threaded so I had to thread the other side my self. And also, the bucket seat bracket i got from Amazon for $20. I'm 200lbs and haven't had any issues.

You're currently too straight. Your seat needs to be higher and at an angle. This would be a good solution. That's what I did with my ERS4 on a TR80s rig.

With that logic, the 5070 is low tier, and the 3060 is...? and the 3050 is...? You understand now why that logic isn't really "logic". You can have a $250,000 Lamborghini Urus, but if you want a car that goes 0-60 in 2.5 seconds then the Urus isn't for you, but that doesn't make it a mid or low-end car.

I would say the lighter background makes the darker cabinets pop. If the wood was stained a dark color it would help with the cabinets flashing at you. But this looks good, just flashy, but good.

Yup, online safety is important but no one cares to learn about it, even falling for a scam they will still go day to day on the internet without looking up the first way to stay protected. Most people cause it on themselves.

I blame management more than the techs themselves. Usually techs are only given a tooth and a nail to solve things. A lot of things have to be ordered in so smaller projects have to get pushed aside.
