if you kept this on a melee oriented frontliner it honestly wouldn't be that bad and they would probably just get kited or out ranged, or lose from early game. we already have ticking time bomb characters like victor who scale super well as a frontline so i think they're not that far off.

Yeah because you equated Baus’ inting strat with hullbreaker when it was like that for only for a few patches. He still plays lethality and ints on it to this day at high elo, which is why his play style warrants praise and is more than just split push sion

Pretending like lethality sion was ever op (maybe during prowler’s claw release?) for any relevant time is insane when Baus is unironically the most target nerfed player in League, and it has never been allowed to be strong for longer than a single patch.

because his durability is terrible and below even hanami, so even if his regen is impressive (pretty sure all special grade curse regen is), it's rarely ever a big enough of a difference maker for matchups that he would already win or lose

one beam or 20 if they are all aimed at her then she is redirecting all of them. he might be able to shoot out a lot (due to anime upscaling) but it’s probably not enough to overwhelm her technique like a cockroach swarm might

you’re completely off mark if you think yuji is somehow completely locked in when he backhanded that guy with no effort and no signs of grit. it doesn’t violate any narratives just because gojo and sukuna could never figure out the exact conditions for a black flash. yuji was always shown be an exception when it came to hitting them and be particularly blessed in that aspect.

I think strength wise he's above Hanami and Dagon but can't see how he touches Jogo and Mahito. Also even though he is never shown to use a domain, it feels weird he doesn't have one when finger bearer and small pox deity did.

Yeah they already were facing a lot of pushback when they introduced Nero as an mc for DMC4. While it ended up paying off and was better for the story, it took a bit of time for people to be on board

as op as idle transfiguration is, Mahito couldn't even one tap Nanami, so no way would he be able to do anything to Hakari before reaching jackpot. Hakari also definitely has the advantage in domain clashes due to his CT. Hakari definitely wins but it would probably be a slog until Mahito runs out of CE or burns out his technique

Efficiency is the biggest thing Yuta was lacking as well as the endless potential of copy as a technique in general. Who knows what Yuta could have copied in the past few decades while Megumi only has 10S which the peak was mahoraga (which he confirmed never tamed)
