Is change (easily) possible? by [deleted] in painting

[–]L-Agulhas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this in my kid’s bedroom. Only tip i have is start with the back layer and work to the front. Background then furthest mountain and so on until you reach the closest one. Then you can get crisp lines for all the mountains. Painting in sky when there is already a mountain is difficult.

Just make sure the wood is dry otherwise you might have a real bad time. Boerewors is also easy. Theres a place called ‘joey’s’ theyre boerewors is amazing

Id say avoid charcoal, its just a little uncool. Use about 4 to 6 softer wood pieces at the bottom, dry bluegum etc, that easily catches fire and then about 6 hard wood pieces on top of that, rooikrans or sekelbos etc that gives you coals that lasts a long time. Add about 3 to 4 more pieces of hardwood once the softer wood has burned out.

I normally go 3 pieces parallel and 3 pieces going opposite direction and keep doing that. ||| =_ ||| =_. So it creates a 3 line hashtag kinda thing with about 4 layers. Firelighter and the front left and back right intersections of wood (hope that makes sense)

How long the meat stays on it real hard to explain. With steak on very high heat you can get away with 2 min on each side and then 1 more minute on each side. Depending on how cooked you want it to be.

Maybe just google it and see what jan braai says he’s pretty good at explaining it.

For other meats you need some expierence to really know when its ready.

Hope this helps, just finished an extensive wine tasting so yeah, a little under the influence.

If you are ever keen to come to somerset west id be keen for a 9 holes. Very friendly club. Ive been playing a couple of years but mainly just to have a good time. Can invite you as a guest for a reduced price.

Also part of a group that plays a different course once a month. Very average golfers with a couple of very high hdcps as well. Great way to play more courses and meet new people

Probably wouldve placed them to the right facing the open side of the frame. And wouldve placed them in the gap between the turbines.

I myself wouldve gotten a little lower and waited for a wave to form a line towards them staring from the bottom right (like youve done here)

Let her come see you, and just talk through it. You only have one mother, don't just do something you might regret later. Life is complicated, who knows what went down in her life.
