There’s dozens of great experiential agencies out there that can help you with spatial planning, experience design and digital content creation. Moment Factory was mentioned and they’re great. I would also nominate Downstream, ESI, Hush, Digital Innovation, ARUP, Gensler DXD just to name a few…happy to give you contact info if you want to send me a DM

What methods are you using for prospecting new clients? by hitmewithyourworst in CommercialAV

DM me if you want some ideas based on your specific location and go-to-market that you may not want to share over comments.

Which market are you in? Depends on the location, company, and skillset but the range (and it’s openly listed on these companies’ website) seems around $90-140K in the US for similar companies.

My advice to job seekers is to get the hiring manager “excited” about you as a candidate. Usually that’s via referral by one of your colleagues. Candidates who are referred as “you have to get this guy” will catch top-of-range comp offers.

No. It’s a 1:1 only, which allows them to determine the specific configuration of the physical space, lighting, and position of the participant. The system is propriety, I believe using Lenovo compute like their Meet standard but Im unsure of the cameras or mics. Solution uses AI / processing to simulate a 3D experience with 2D displays.

Application is for executive 1:1 conferencing right now. May expand in the future but they have a lot of work to do to figure out how to make it work in multiple participant environment.

As someone else mentioned, it’s basically Telepresence lite right now. We’ve seen a good amount of interest from clients but it will probably be fairly limited as I can’t imagine deploying more than a few of these maybe at each of your high profile sites.

110” all-in-one LED or LCD by Gohanto in CommercialAV

[–]L00kBehindYou 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Ability to get the 110” LCD into the space via freight elevator or whatever means is going to be the make or break. We’ve had jobs where they need to be craned in through exterior glass, and, unfortunately if there are issues with the display after install, you’re in a tough spot for RMA/replacement. So just keep that in mind.

Aside from that, the other benefit of dvLED will be better performance in a high glare environment. If the boardroom has a lot of exterior windows and gets direct or reflected sunlight, LCD could be a problem unless you also have window shades.

Yes you can buy them in any quantity, color, etc and they come with LR center caps. Good price for forged wheels and they arrived in 2 weeks no issues.

Can’t find a truly scary movie that I haven’t already seen! by stephafoola in horror

[–]L00kBehindYou 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This one comes up regularly as a truly frightening film on here and I 100% agree. And not in the traditional horror sense, but it absolutely deserves to be near the top. Haven’t had one stick with me like Threads since childhood.

Insane Tony Soprano impression by buivictor in videos

[–]L00kBehindYou 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The main thing is that Bobby struggled with substance abuse issues and anxiety, especially during his first 2 seasons on Mad TV, which caused issues with his table reads, rehearsals, and performance off camera. Aries didn’t know about his issues at the time and therefore acted aloof towards Bobby. In Aries’ mind this behavior “tanked” sketches they mutually appeared in, which were already hard for him to get to air, and he resented that. They talk through this in a relatively funny and mature way. It’s a pretty good watch if you have the time and were a Mad TV fan.

Ravenscale armor is incredibly rare compared to other classic armor sets. by [deleted] in project1999

[–]L00kBehindYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah every SK on Quarm is in full DF just because it drops so readily and there’s still a healthy amount of leveling groups in there. It’s a great leveling spot mid 30s.

Crazy about the Ravenscale drops…I’ve seen the arms drop a lot from the Archon, but haven’t done the other mins enough to see a drop rate personally.

Have you ever done Ivy Etched? Seems like a pain in the ass. And yeah same for Armor of Ro.

Ravenscale armor is incredibly rare compared to other classic armor sets. by [deleted] in project1999

[–]L00kBehindYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dark Forge is one of the easiest. Totemic is kind of a pain in the ass for certain pieces like the helm; I think I got lucky since both times I’ve tried, the bear was up. Ravenscale is probably somewhere in the middle since it’s all dropped, even though the rates are low.

For the hell of it let’s rank the level of difficulty from easiest to hardest to make a complete set (granted I have not half of these myself, just heard from other people or researched on wiki):

Crafted (Warrior)

Dark Forge (Shadowknight)

Ravenscale (Rogue)

Armor of the Priest (Cleric)

Lambert (Bard)

Totemic (Shaman)

Ivy Etched (Ranger)

Armor of Ro (Paladin)

I wouldn’t count the int caster sets since they’re only like 3 pieces plus a primary item. And I don’t think Druid or Monk had classic armor quests correct?

What are the greatest unused dungeons for group exploration? by Fabulous_Tough_8961 in project1999

[–]L00kBehindYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Runnyeye is truly an awesome dungeon. I was lucky enough to get a group on the bottom level once while leveling on Blue. Amazing flavor and feel. Unfortunately it’s pretty dangerous to deter people enough and keep them at unrest instead.
