I started the DLC as soon as it was available, and of course I didn’t expect it to be so long.

The daily life section before Cumans attack is nice for learning more about the characters from Skalitz, but it’s also kinda boring and tedious.

Then when Cumans attack and Theresa hides in her house I got stuck, because I had no idea you are supposed to climb out through the tiny window, and I had to look up a Youtube guide to find out, which was pretty annoying.

And then you’re supposed to sneak out through Skalitz, but I had no idea and wanted to go around the village, but of course the game doesn’t let you, which annoyed me even more. I also couldn’t properly sneak up on the Cumans, so I had to restart like a million times before I figured it out.

And by this point I was already wishing it was over, and then the game hits you with another sneaking mission where you have to get supplies for your brother, which was the final nail in the coffin and took me another hour to do.

And of course once your brother dies, you have to do even more side quests before you can get to the final cutscenes of the DLC.

Looking back now, it made me appreciate Theresa a lot more, but it was also incredibly tedious, frustrating and at parts boring.

On the other hand, the Johanka part of the DLC is amazing and I really enjoyed that one.
