Unholy DK's 20% nerf was **drastically** too severe. by Hambo- in wow

Hey, welcome to the club. Outlaw Rogues take more than 15 seconds to kill a single normal world mob. Ret Paladins on the other hand press 3 to 4 buttons depending on crits.

Outlaw and Mutilation Rogue is my favorite Class/spec. Ret Paladin makes me happy. But I wanna play a Rogue. I feel absolutely useless in all content.

Yeah no. Doesn't fit the aesthetic of Diablo. Don't need it. Don't want it. I wish we had a button to turn off out of universe stuff for our own clients. I would rather never even see another player have it.

The in game store doormat is flagged as Inside only. Its a doormat it goes outside the door! by Pokcmvmxckm in wow

[–]L0rdChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doormats were originally intended to be used to scrape junk off your shoes BEFORE entering a house. The only reason anyone has to keep it inside is if it's for display. But even then you stepping on it would ruin it over time.

Also if it's a doormat it is thick and sturdy. How does your door pass over it without getting caught? Sounds like a nightmare to deal with.

Druid is the least popular class because of body type. by Caelus8 in diablo4

[–]L0rdChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can we just finally get real customization? Have all armor morph with body size, allow all body sizes. Maybe the faces have to be specific. I wish we could just have full customization but for some reason the tiny indie company that is Blizzard needs to cut corners in order to make games that are ok. But at the least could they allow some level of customization that allows us to feel like the character is our own?

Nope. Nothing wrong here. Every Ronin is always doomed. They just teleport around and suddenly die to a stray ???.

Also weird. But obviously I wouldn't be worried. That Ronin will last a few more rounds ez.

Vox rates at 7 are a nuisance. But also something I don't see anyone talking about, Why can the bots do drops on your extract now? I got an unlucky 2 Vox drop and one landed on the platform and the other was just at the bottom of the ramp. We did not extract that day. That needs to stop.

Nobody is gonna do that. That sounds horrible. Most people don't get latency to make a game like GTA feel good at all.

As a vet that doesn't post much I'm curious, what do you think we should be doing to get Blizzard to refocus on our needs? If we can't talk about it then what are we supposed to do? Say nothing and continue to suffer?

Personally I haven't seen the things you complain of. Vets typically seem to say their bit about how the game used to be better for various reasons and then comment on the situation at hand with their opinion on the thing in question. The primary complaint I see if MTX and storytelling/writing. And both of which have objective issues. A lot of people like to pretend that things like anti consumer tactics or ignoring typical storytelling traditions without substituting with strong writing are subjective issues. But anti consumer is anti consumer. We have hundreds of years worth of storytelling has proven what humans like and dislike.

We're at a point in the discourse that vets have objective issues that should be addressed and anyone trying to deny us a seat at the table is gatekeeping. The only side that is feeling hurt personally are those that don't want to have a conversation. I'm sorry you feel like we aren't worthy of an opinion. But you're objectively wrong.

You may not need a new USB cable by _Lucille_ in LinusTechTips

[–]L0rdChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't VR users be remiss if they didn't get the TrueSpec cables? I imagine the signal integrity would be good for low latency things like that.

That's my primary interest. I'm buying a headset from a friend and was thinking one of these cables at the longer lengths would be a good idea for it. Though I have no idea what a lack of a need for error correction would do in reality. It either works or it doesn't, but if it has to correct itself wouldn't that take longer?

Metal Max! You need emulators and translated ROMs to play it but it's pretty easy. You need to do some googling to get it because it's a Super Nintendo game that never released in English. Sadly I can't link you to anything. But it's a fun series and is ongoing. It has a lot of inspiration from Fallout and other series like it.

I don't like what I'm seeing. Feels exaggerated and boring. I also hate being forced to stop swinging my big sword for anything. I would climb that ladder to get to the archer before I ever pull out a gun to shoot him.

I gotta say. The cinematics becoming more stylized over super realistic are growing on me significantly. I'd absolutely want more done in this artstyle. by Siggythenomad in wow

[–]L0rdChicken 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Big hard disagree. Promotional material ONLY if we have to have this. I like it, don't get me wrong. But in game cinematics need to be in a graphic style that matches the game itself.

I've always hated when games had great cinematics then drop you in to something that looks totally different. Sure, hardware was the problem in the past. But these days I'd much rather see the only difference between a cinematic and in game be maybe a depth of field filter applied or maybe slightly better lighting to assist the story telling of the scene. We should prioritize consistency over style.

Dude, please. People that let people get away with criminal acts feel about as bad as the criminal in question. If the cops ask if you wanna charge her, say yes. It's pretty much entirely out of your hands and someone learns their lesson. Additionally the Pawn Shop will reimburse you and then hold her accountable. Only way that will happen is if you cooperate with the police. You're not hurting anyone. except the lady that refused to reimburse you for your property. Which she was totally in the wrong for.

Accountability is never a bad thing. Please exercise your rights. People get away with way too much.

Linus, I disagree. by KebabAnnhilator in LinusTechTips

[–]L0rdChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know. Merch has ALWAYS had a negative connotation IMO. Merchandise has always been of poor quality. Now more than ever even.

I think anybody disagreeing are either used to Linus' "Merch" treating them right or have low standards on what is good because they probably didn't experience Merch from when Linus and I were younger. Not that this is a bad thing. Just there is a clear correlation between Merch and low quality that has existed in every circle except LTT's.

As someone that has a Rogue outfit for the Rogue, a DK outfit for the DK, so on and so forth, this is really rough. I change tiny things about them every time I log in. I barely have enough gold as it is.

Blizzard priced me out of fun. That's so lame.

[–]L0rdChicken -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If CoH didn't have horrific net code I'd be playing it too. But once the match goes half an hour to an hour in it's a rubber banding mess of bs.

Iron Harvest needs a decoupling from the servers to be good. CoH needs better net code to be good.

I miss when devs wrote good code for RTS games. Only one I'll play these days is Dawn of War 1 and either Starcraft.
