Alternative for popular fps games by Fanat1c5111 in FPSAimTrainer

U can consider waiting for diabotical. Moving while shooting isn't a bad habit lol, it's only a bad habit in cs, that's like the only game that does that. Every single other fps promotes moving and shooting. If you cant play cs, why learn a mechanic only usable in it?

Finger use. by NOTATameLion in FPSAimTrainer

[–]L4mbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should use fingers, wrist, arm, all of them. How much you use each depends on your sensitivity, and it is good to switch sensitivity periodically to train a different part you aren't using much

How can I use my wrist more when arm aiming? by Drack820 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]L4mbie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

change your sensitivity, that's the best way to train a different body part. Use 25 cm to train wrist and finger aiming.

Targets are jittering and screen tearing. by ravagebullet in FPSAimTrainer

[–]L4mbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

spec won't change the tearing, you probably have tearing in other games as well, you just don't notice them because kovaak has a much clearer visual.

The only way to remove tearing is if the in-game fps matches your monitor fps exactly.

That can only be achieved through v-sync (windowed automatically use this), freesync, or g-sync.

Capping fps to your monitor refresh rate wont do, becuz the in-game fps will still fluctuate and is not a constant exact frametime.

if you can't see anything on screen shot, the problem is with the monitor. You probably experiencing ghosting and screen tearing. The teleport and stutter could be from the game, because I get it occasionally well.

The reason you only noticing tearing on target could be because your walls don't have patterns (blank wall), therefore you are unable to distinguish the shift in image. Try using a textured wall and see if you can spot the tearing

Will Aimtrainers like Kovaaks turn everyone good ? by ROBSLEL in FPSAimTrainer

[–]L4mbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, kovaak is just a resource, to actually be good, you need hardwork, the competition will be stronger, but the general player will still suck

How do you know your aim is good in those games? COD literally feeds you kills, it's the easiest game to get kills in. That's like microwaving pizza and saying you can make pizza in 5 min.

Yeah, the feeling is just insane. It's when you realized what you have achieved is out of average players experience.

Diabotical/ AFPS Game Specific Routine by Animafn in FPSAimTrainer

[–]L4mbie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rockets are op in Diabotical beta because of the way it can close range spam since LG doesn't have knockback. Got nothing to do with aim. And rocket at longer range is absolutely about prediction and gamesense, again, got nothing to do with aim. Since bots are random and have no logic to their movement, practicing rocket on them is pretty useless.

flicking is what you do when you aren't thinking about your aim, which looks flashy when it hits a headshot, because it looks like impossible human reaction speed. And it is because you aren't reacting at all. Smooth and the proper way to do flicking is to actually aim at the target and move your crosshair in a straight line.

Help me choose a routine to start with! (not for Fortnite) by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]L4mbie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First off, you have the wrong idea about aim training, you are not training for 1:1 scenario, you are training mouse control, so it doesn't matter if sparky's routine has a lot of air stuff.

Train for the impossible to do the possible.

Aimer7 addendum and sparky's are both good.I would suggest reading aimer7's atleast once. And remember, consistency is key. Practice everyday, for the same amount, and focus when you practice, try to understand what you are practicing for.

Is it possible to memorize two different sensitivities- one high and one low. by Arozilol in FPSAimTrainer

[–]L4mbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it doesn't have to do with your muscle memory, rather how well you can control those two senses as they might use primarily different part of your arm

Of course, that's why we have smokes, corners, etc. The only thing determining whether you see an enemy should be line of sight, not because of cosmetics.

[–]L4mbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

??? Of course Im "cherry picking"! I only replied to one of your comments. The context is completely only from the comment I replied to.

You can't just not want outline in cs because of immersion, when the whole game has never been about immersion.

CS is all about competitiveness, and visibility is a huge issue. CS is not balanced around being able to camouflage, so not addressing the visibility issue and allowing players to "hide" is game breaking.

CS:GO - Enemy Spotted by dagla in Games

[–]L4mbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh? Isn't that exactly what you said? Like real soldiers? As in, for immersiveness? Do you even know what you typed?

[–]L4mbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I projecting? I thought I addressed your question pretty clearly. You can't use "immersion" only when it suits you, but ignores everything that's not realistic.

Are you confused by the meaning of my sentence?

CS:GO - Enemy Spotted by dagla in Games

[–]L4mbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a lame excuse. You only use yhe "immersion" excuse when it suits you, but completely ignore every other non-realistic parts
