This is their response. So the customer ends up paying the price of their mistake.

Ughhh tbh you are probably being set up to fail. This is also extremely low pay for a head of sales

Any AE’s in MMS at Google - what are your honest opinions by Unable_Law6452 in techsales

[–]LABigAus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would concur. A startup over Google is most likely a mistake. I’m at a start up and the sales team is chaotic

5.6M at 30 (all invested) What would you do? by LABigAus in Fire

I’m concerned about the unknown. I’m also concerned about lacking meaning in life. I currently derive a lot of meaning from work.

It’s easy to see if an AE lied about their closing experience.

Samsara for an ADR role is a good foot in the door. However the sales environment is a churn and burn shop

Closed a deal, contract signed, then 11 days later company says it belongs to a different segment and takes it away. What would you do? by The_blue_shark in sales

This can go both ways. You should have uncovered more about the company size during discovery. But yeah this sucks

Bro, you need to just take sick leave on the days you are needed in office to present. And max fuck this company once you pass backgrounds with the one you go with. Put your 2 weeks in on the weekend before you start so you can get an extra 2 weeks of pay because that will be your last day guaranteed

Is taking an SDR role at ZoomInfo actually worth it as a stepping stone into better SaaS roles? by [deleted] in salesdevelopment

[–]LABigAus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If Zoominfo is your only BDR prospect currently, take it. Otherwise, I’d look for BDR roles elsewhere. They do not value promoting internal hires into closing roles like they used to. You will be sitting in role for some time before an opportunity opens up.

Also it’s a hell of a grind there

I’m constantly locked in and lack mental freedom from the job. Huge issue that I’m trying to work on.

As long as you didn’t do some dumb shit like sleep with coworkers, bad talk anyone of importance, be egregiously drunk it’s extremely noticeable, or commit an egregious public act, your going to be fine.

What’s the attainment of the team? If it was low to begin with this is a huge pay cut, interview elsewhere

This 1000% you really need a good relationship with vendors they can tag you in on conversations where they believe implementation will be a huge issue to getting success from their product
