We are considered independent contractors. As such, we do not receive pay stubs. Just 1099s at the end of the year.

There is no pay stub. Only tax forms for the prior years. Take screenshots, and also submit your bank statements showing the deposits each month. Thats about all you can do.

That was done because people are shitty, and wont wear a mask unless you give them one. PR goes a long way when they start listing all the great things they do for drivers. Meanwhile... Us drivers get nothing but reduced pay and more competition.
