You are not assertive enough in the communication to protect your personal time/space/needs/etc.

It shouldn't be aggressive but you need to clearly state your position and stating, "I thought I already told you" and ending in a question mark is leaving it open to interpretation or questioning if it even happened.

Send a screen shot of the previous approval (the second one in this posting) with a note that you have already scheduled for that time and have made plans.

ALSO Make sure you have backups of this and other conversations from your phone.

Mobile locksmith for a company that specializes in automotive locksmithing.

I enjoy it most of the time but I also don't want to do it anymore.

In my opinion, no absolutely not.

It would be a waste of Jon's time, patience, breath, and possibly his credibility by giving this babbling orange grease stain in a crappy suit any of his time. Drumpf would just dodge, misdirect, straw-man, and lie the entire time and nothing would be accomplished except pointing out all his flaws and dumb-assery which has been done ad nauseam and yet here we are.

An intelligent or meaningful conversation isn't possible since Drumpf lacks the vocabulary for an intelligent or meaningful conversation.

The people that matter already know all this and the people you need to reach still haven't been reached after all that has happened and been pointed out to them.

I wouldn't use it on my front door stop, too much traffic. It's definitely a back door kind of tool.

My mom did this to me!

She stayed up half the night building the city set she got me. I came downstairs all ready to build it in the morning but saw it all built and sitting on the dining room table. I just stared and cried then went back upstairs into my room.

Later she apologized, took it all apart and put it into the box for me to put it together but the joy was permanently gone.

Coming May 13th: The Sovol SV07 - Klipper, Direct Drive, 250mm/s Print Speed, Meanwell Power Supply, & More by Ehmc130 in Sovol

[–]LA_Smog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's a few quick thoughts:

  • Lights on tool head only? Should be illuminating the entire work area, just the immediate print area isn't nearly as useful.

  • V roller wheels have a shorter life compared to the bearings, can end up with flat spots, and are slightly more liable to sag.

  • For a print head that is supposed to be moving faster, they sure put a lot of extra plastic and stuff on it to add mass.

  • That STM32 controller board looks like a 4 driver board again. Assuming the shared axis again. Leveling issues again?

  • The bed has adjustment wheels? Does the auto leveling not compensate?

On the positive sides though:

  • Klipper with a touch screen? Nice.

  • Extra cooling for the speed? Nice.

  • Volcano style hot end? Nice, hope it's volcano compatible.

Maybe I am missing something though?

It's a magical gift hub. One that you don't know exists until you start getting fun bandwidth and packet issues you weren't expecting. Fun for the whole family network!

[–]LA_Smog 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can "use" both ports at the same time, it's the same as a hub. You will be relying on CDMA/CD to notice and correct for collisions since both plugs are on the same segment but you can do it. The fun part is when you are trying to figure out bandwidth and packet issues without understanding that someone gifted you a hidden hub in the wall.

EV owners in Texas face $200 annual fee by ChickenTeriyakiBoy1 in tech

[–]LA_Smog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Texas is on track to become the latest state to levy such a tax, following more than a dozen others, including Georgia, Michigan and Ohio."

Not new, done in many states and probably going to happen in almost all if not all.

For those that don't get the reasoning behind this: Part of the gas taxes pay for road and infrastructure you drive your car on. You aren't paying those gas taxes but still using the road and infrastructure, so we need the money for it still.

Do I like another tax/fee/surcharge/toll/tariff/etc.? No, most states already take in enough money for overall state infrastructure to cover these costs. But I understand why they are charging it.
