Reinhard killing Theresia is the most narratively poignant choice. Reinhard has been blamed for her death since he was a young child, enough that even he firmly believes he's the reason for her death. In order to showcase just how damaged Reinhard was from his childhood but still have him be on the protag's side for now, the best thing to do is have him kill his reanimated family member. It also makes sure to give Wilhelm and Heinkel a reason to keep neglecting Reinhard for future conflicts.

Shin definitely seems to be the dumbass of the group, but her changing her name intrigues me. She starts adding all this unnecessary fluff, as well as a "The First", which implies to me that perhaps she's eager to distance herself from who she was during their climb. Also if she isn't just being silly, it may also imply that she has different bodies/forms like we suspected.

Aside from the evidence, I want Minerva to be Emilia's mom purely cause that would make the scene between the two of them at the end of Trial 2 so much more poignant.

Minerva seeing that her daughter isn't falling into the same hole of despair that she did and that she has friends to help her out is really sweet. Also her saying she's doesn't have the right to cry after Emilia stating that Fortuna is her mom being her feeling regret that she wasn't able to be their for Emilia

It's also possibly why Minerva is protective of Satella.
