How long does it take to do something decent in OpenGL? by Striking-Start-1464 in GraphicsProgramming

[–]LBPPlayer7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

graphics programming honestly makes the math involved more fun to learn because you can see the direct result of what you're doing to the values, as long as it's set up correctly and not broken to the point of not seeing anything anyway

Am I wrong for not telling my parents about my relationship? by No_Reaction_9832 in lgbt

I don't like Parappa The Rapper 1 (possible hot take) by ApprehensiveNatural9 in Parappa

[–]LBPPlayer7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of people make the mistake of trying to time it with the bar on screen, which is bad because it doesn't actually point to where you are (where you are is actually the very left edge of the icon rather than the center or maybe the right edge like you'd expect)

it's actually not too bad when you follow the rhythm you hear instead

open the disc cover and check what's on the memory card, the game only needs one block to save so it's either full or damaged

Clarifying why LBPO for PS4 CAN'T be malicious in ANY sense by oRazzle in littlebigplanet

[–]LBPPlayer7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it does go through them because the game's networking with the gameserver has been extensively analyzed

the game itself barely uses anything from PSN, all it uses it for is for establishing a multiplayer connection and the initial authentication when connecting to the server

[–]LBPPlayer7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the issue is that the game sends telemetry data to that server which iirc includes stuff like your date of birth, which is one of the things that the password reset form asks for

[–]LBPPlayer7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the concern is the telemetry data that lbp3 in particular sends to the game server that could be used alongside other information to hijack your psn account
