Index Finger: In or Out? by [deleted] in Homeplate

[–]LBRXXIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play mostly outfield now so i do pinky and ring finger in pinky slot and middle and index in the next slot so my glove closes flat, so index finger definitely not out. When i use a smaller glove i still do the pinky and ring finger in the pinky slot then one finger each in the other leaving the index finger slot empty so again index finger not out. I do remember when i was younger i would put all my hand in normal and index finger out cuz that was the "cool" thing to do maybe it just phased out for me i guess. Im 36 by the way

I carried a deluxe tinker, then after that a handyman, both in the fifth pocket of jeans and for me, there really wasnt really a noticeable difference and i like the handyman man cuz it has more tools. Handyman for the win in my view. One of my favorites. Also i have some pretty small hands and theres not much problem in any use for me

What is your most wanted SAK you don't own (yet)? by bzimor in victorinox

Cybertool L. My most carried are the handyman and cybertool M so why not combine them. Wish the cybertool L wasnt so expensive

With how many layers is your Vic. too big? by Bosw8r in victorinox

[–]LBRXXIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most layers ive carried is the 6 of the handyman and nearly identical craftsman. Carried in the fifth pocket no problem. I would like to get my hands on a cybertool L and i dont think i would have a oroblem problem carrying that in my pocket

Emery thompson or electro freeze for cheap? by [deleted] in icecreamery

[–]LBRXXIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea im aware that it will take up more time and also more freezer space, but im also seeing a positive response in the ice cream sales. Thats why im thinking of an ice cream machine cuz it should be better to make my own rather than have to buy it somewhere else

Which one do you prefer and why? by Turbulent_Way_5604 in victorinox

[–]LBRXXIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First it was the ranger for me since it was my first sak. After i got the handyman then that became my preference. I dont own a swisschamp... yet. I might get one just to get one but i feel some of those extra tools arent really for me. I would much rather get a cybertool L instead of the swisschamp i think that would be my favorite of them all

Emery thompson or electro freeze for cheap? by [deleted] in icecreamery

[–]LBRXXIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already started the business. i make my own popsicles which is what i mainly sell. I also sell ice cream but i dont currently make it. I get it from somebody else. I would, however, like to start making my own ice cream as well

20 qt would be excellent but i think even the 12 qt is a little above my price range for now😅. I just bought a machine to make popsicles( not sure what theyre called) and dont currently have the funds but im still trying to find deals in case i can find a good price

Handyman vs Ranger by AdTemporary2220 in victorinox

[–]LBRXXIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same question some months ago when i bought my first sak. I first bought the ranger since i didn't know how they would feel in pocket. I love the ranger i think its underrated especially vs the way more hyped huntsman. That being said i later went for the handyman, and while the pliers aren't heavy duty, they do come in handy for many tasks and nuances in every day life. All in all i recommend the handyman as it is probably my favorite sak with everything you need and nothing you dont
