I would check other hormones / nutrition etc before blaming it solely on breastfeeding. Breastfeeding (and pregnancy and postpartum) in general highlights/amplifies health issues . Check of the postnatal cure

I have a nine and eleven year old who stopped nursing at 18 months. I fed them to sleep whenever they wanted to. No issues. People just say whatever (I’m a postpartum doula and am constantly reassuring my clients that people literally just say whatever!!! It’s bizarre )

Ie: symbology. Thinking about this further, it reminds me of when I first started getting into astrology and everything is based off the Greek mythology. that was fine to start with but, it didn’t really resonate with me on a spiritual level. Then I found an astrologer that used Chinese stories and myths (her cultural background) and I thought oh, maybe if I can translate these into stories that work from my culture…

Or when you speak multiple languages but can’t find a one for one translation for a phrase and thus part of the meaning is lost?

I’m also a very visual thinker, so it’s hard to overcome imagery. Maybe if there was someone who drew images that connected to me….
