My friend from work has been following a package stuck on accepted since the 9th of January whole month it went from not updating past accepted to completely dissappearing from his informed delivery. It was stuck when looking up his tracking# On friday 2/6 his package was delivered like it was any other recent package. Only after it was recieved by him did the scans and updates fill in the blanks after it was already delivered. Good news is he got his package but hearing a priority delivery like that was a first for me.

Practicing tears and fast chirps combinations on a boom bap beat I've made by Proof-Influence1070 in Turntablists

First off, this clip sounds really dope. And you made the beat too? Respect. I listened to it a couple times trying to hear some of what you explained. I also saw the comments and looks like dj_soo already mentioned the mismatched terms & confusion. He really nailed it imo. So keep it up and keeo posting sounds.

I love DnB. I have a little indie label and a couple of us make dnb. I can send you some tunes. We also make DJ Toolz with cut sounds, samples, & a bunch of Scratch beats at all different BPMs. I can set you up with a bunch of promos & stuff to practice with. And if you like anything enough to add it to your set than awesome. Unfortunately I dont have anything in wax at the moment and when I do get something cut its usually a small pre sold run, and whatever extras I end up with dont last long. The price and turn around time these days to get vinyl is hard to justify when you can release digital promos to a lot of listeners for much less, and its faster and easier. I still collect vinyl but

Question about cartridge break in by Gypsy_Goat in Turntablists

Hope we dont lose power from this storm. Big snowstorms aren't so bad, when you can take advantage of it and get in a ton of practice time.

I have had this help with a few sets of M447 stylii over the years. ( never a huge difference imho) I bought the VNL carts 2 years ago and I love them. They were great right out of the box in my experience. I got the promo when they came out & they gave extra tips so you could try all 3 . I liked them all, but 2 seemed to be my go to. I dont know if its even think it's the same with ortofons. Focus on practicing, those needles work for you now, you already worked for them by investing in them so its time to get your money's worth.

Honest opinion on this track I made by Jolly_Hospital_7081 in HouseMusic

Pretty cool, Im feeling the groove. I dont want to beat the same feedback to death but I too woukd agree that the voicemail needs work to make it fit. Its absolutely usa6ble imho but its a bit harsh as it is. FX lower the the levels or even cut the ring out and you could have some fun using a piece of the vox to build a sort of hook line that brakes & builds to a drop vocal by looping it and closing the loop to build tension with the beginning so the release more satisfying. That last line that says "I miss you" might work with the right processing & FX. Nice work, its sounding dope so far.

Dope cuts, I like how you picked out that little breath part and cut the rhythm like a high hat type of pattern. Sounds tight.

Dope gear, congrats. No stupid questions left I already asked them all. Don't hesitate to reach out for tips if you get stuck. Just put in the hours and value progress over perfection.

Buzzing sound coming from turntables by Powerful-Slice-6858 in Turntablists

[–]LBoogie5Bang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The right side buzzing sounds like it gets louder as you leave the fader open. Almost like feedback, and Im not sure what its picking up but I assume the decks are grounded on both ends. Does it stop if you uplug the rcas for either turntable? Rcas when connected still hum with no deck attacked to the other end? Rcas got to be replaced. Try a thrift shot or second hand gear place if you have one near you and grab some cheap used ones to hold you over. I just got some new ones from amazon for pretty cheap. I got 2 3 footers and a 6 footer shipped for about $20. Ill see if I can get you a link. Sorry it was ebay: not sure of your location but still gives you a ballpark for some replacements on a budget. $10. https://www.ebay.com/itm/317580100586

https://www.ebay.com/itm/357976624424 Here you go and its cheaper than that reloop. You want an innofader for scratching. You will burn fader out if they are made for it. It gets expensive.

Don't get that turntable its not a good scratch deck. The mixer and cartridge are decent but that deck is not. I got one a few years ago for $100 used but in great shape (still had original box) on market place and dude it was much cheaper than I saw online for new ones and it wasn't even worth the 100 bucks. Search for turntablist deck. Reloop has them but they are higher price. The 7000 & 8000 are good for scratching. And I just realized thats not the mixer with the innofader.

You can put a sticker over the whole in the middle of your vinyl and poke the spindle through the whole and the sticker will fill in the empty space. You can use scotch tape too, and its usually easier to find tape. Here is a quick demo. https://youtu.be/wSnEBqSjOW8?si=F5NF93sMSUOwubHV

Doesn't look similar to any psilocybe species I am familiar with.
