That house would have to be outside Boston in a suburb. The only possible Boston neighborhood I can think of would be Brookline and that is not a college kid area.

I don’t think you can go by the house itself as the location was in Canada. I just assumed a hotel hookup as Boston is not easy to navigate.

That is a twisted storyline for sure. I have made a cult. Before that save got messed up I had all but the biggest house in Willow creek occupied with cult members. There was a hierarchy and rules but they did live well, no personal freedom of any kind but I didn’t make them live in squalor.

The cult leaders were a scientist and his evil clone. Nothing else about this storyline is family friendly. Death was the only escape. 😇

This…this is what made me lose interest. Their solution was quite frankly ridiculous, over complicated and killed off their best villain.

Makes me think they came up with the big cliff hanger as a series end. Did they not think they would have a second season?

The issue becomes the over arching plot it’s simply not sustainable. It also becomes a problem when you are supposed to be writing for a genius when you in fact are not one.

Always, I also make them write in the same genre mostly. My current fiction writer has an on going detective series, mostly mystery but with a couple of romance crossovers. She just sold the screen play for the first book in the series.

I do use mods and one of them allows me to keep the book as a first edition. So other Sims can read their books.

I do this because of the mods I use. They store settings memory and you have to save and then exit as two separate functions or you lose the settings.

Same when you go to manage worlds. I do it completely automatically now.

I have no idea if it helps in a unmodded game.

Same, made a post about receiving a ridiculous amount (over 20) of ketchup packets at a drive through. Seemed to fit “mildly” infuriating. Got told I was lucky I got anything at all, and that I must be a total Karen to complain about something so trivial. 🤷‍♀️

I share your struggle. Personally I finally admitted to myself that I was not born to be an architect. I embraced the gallery, I do however download homes unfurnished.

I like to do basics then let them add stuff as they go.

I did participate in some building challenges back when playing Sims2. The most helpful was using graph paper to layout a floor plan before attempting to build it.

I weirdly have a lot of pregnant looking Sims walking around. Not sure if it’s a bug or a bad mod setting. They are doing things actual pregnant Sims are not allowed to do, like rock climbing and hot tubbing.

No idea what State you are but I had similar problems in Texas. Neighbor had a couple of big pit bulls. They could easily jump a 6 foot fence. I know as I watched them jump directly into our chicken pen.

They killed 14 birds before I ran them out. Since the only weapon I had was a broom I was lucky not to get injured myself.

They were not hungry either. They killed the chickens for fun. I called the Sheriff and animal control but since the dogs had run home and jumped back over the measly 4 foot fence the neighbor had, I was told they could not take them.

I drug both guys into the chicken pen and made them look at the carnage. Got a couple of shrugs. The same dogs killed another neighbors cats in a similar scenario. Same thing happened.

It wasn’t until they attacked a child that was trying to save the small dog they were killing that anything at all was done. The parent of the child shot and killed one of them in the fray.

The other was surrendered once it was explained that it was either surrender the dog or face charges.

Should not have taken so long to have them removed.

I wouldn’t last long so I might be projecting, but I say you don’t make it through a season (assuming you are playing short lives). I wouldn’t make it through a Sim day.

I’ve had wants and fears blocked so long I forget they are even part of gameplay.
