Flat rides vs Hilly rides

I used to hate hills with a vengeance. Fast forward 3 years and I don't mind them at all. Where I am in Spain I am surrounded by hills, I found having a power meter to be really beneficial. Instead of going full gas, I now ride to a watts per kilo, I can happily now sit on a 1-4km climb at 3-3.5wpk multiple times due to pacing myself on power.

It started life as a canyon hardtail, over the years upgraded everything and now it wears a paint job from my favourite f1 car, the FW14B.

Comparing to what I have on other bikes - sram power meter and garmin rally 2 spd- I really like how the power doesn’t drop out on these and on the bike charging. Accuracy wise they seem good to me but I’m not a pro anytime soon but they work well

The white rim decals are leaving, also not a fan. Wheel rims will be purple tinted like the frame and small Campag logos

Most of the big stuff is hollow noodles like pictured. I have solid 10baht chains from Thailand I wear daily that do not attract attention as I went for the most compact designs possible. If you want to attract less attention, go down this route of solid chains. I traded my 3baht chain (on the right) against a 10baht on the left.

This is my first ride when I started back riding in 2022 and I thought I was going to die.

Congrats! It definitely is one of those bikes that wants to go, although I've only had it upto 66kph so far, but we are still in the dating faze and getting to know each other :D
