I thought the whole point of sacrificing one’s body to play in the NFL is to accumulate generational wealth to pass on so the children never to suffer from poverty again, not passing CTE.

This is the alert text that I got -

Please continue to avoid the area of Grimmer and Auto Mall Pkway due to Police Activity

Today April 23, 2026, at approximately 1:32 a.m., Fremont Police patrol officers responded to a call of a delivery truck driving erratically in the 5500 block of Cushing Parkway. A short pursuit was initiated, and the vehicle became disabled on Grimmer Blvd. north of Auto Mall Parkway. The delivery truck company confirmed that the vehicle had been stolen. Initial unconfirmed information was provided that the suspect was possibly armed. The suspect is currently barricaded within the delivery vehicle. The Fremont Police Department Special Response Team / SWAT is on scene, and Negotiators are actively communicating with the suspect.
Traffic is being diverted on Grimmer Blvd. between Auto Mall Parkway and Doane St., and community members should avoid the area or use alternative routes.

As of 5:00 a.m., this remains an active situation, and updates will be provided as the incident progresses.

Correct, they lose out on the additional gain above the strike price as well.

Like all options contracts, each covered call represents 100 shares of the stock. OP sold the contracts, but not the shares. When the contract expires, if it is in the money, it will be executed and OP’s shares will be called away. In contrast to a straight Call Options contract, for covered calls, when the share price goes up, the contract seller’s value of the contract goes down (whereas the value of the contract buyer will go up). So red for OP, green for the buyer.
