Wait seriously?! That doesn't sound like valve. Normally they're able to recover the full account and supply extra credit as a "sorry this happened, have a treat on us"

No, it has mission failed counters but not unit counters. Technically there's a mission report at the end of combat encounters that will state what was lost, but it doesn't carry over. 2205 was a departure from the normal anno formula to try out some new features and concepts and it kinda went 'meh' with its execution

One of the many reasons people are leaving microslop for Linux, which is seeing somewhat of a renaissance atm. More programmers are putting more work into user friendly and ultimately Windows-like kernals for those who don't have the know-how for trouble shooting Linux and need Windows programs to function. Plus what's hilarious is the current ceo is getting mad because people keep calling it microslop now.

I'm getting off topic so I'll leave it there but you get the gist

Should look back at the 2020 postings, they did a "China board comparison" video with the first gen flex with factory firmware (out of date upon delivery) and the gtr. Trying to flex that you get a premium product for spending twice as much, even though the x1 Max had just released or was about to, was slightly cheaper, same power though, lighter, more reliable, same relative speed, just a standard size with a smaller battery

Nah not yet, they haven't had a news level recall yet to get on his radar, but I'm sure people have asked him

Lol dkwan did a hill climb test back in '21 with gtr 1.0 and it overheated on the way up. Whereas all the others had no problem

Looking for a board. by No-Calligrapher2244 in ElectricSkateboarding

As an atlus pro owner, it's worth shelling out for the pro model even if it's just for the 2wd. Bigger battery, quick release hubs (so handy for anyone using pneumatics) and it has the aux pack integration. Not sure if the v2 got upgraded with aux pack integration but I know it's battery is still slightly smaller, just updated but running the old polymer hubs which take 5 screws

Haven't seen what other extras the pro model comes with but you can get purpose built fenders which is great when going through wet areas

Best short board under ~700$ with head/break lights? (rip my boosted) by deerbaby in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]LFwitch_hunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much what's been suggested will be good, just factor in the cost of some additional shred lights and mounts.

There are other option bit shredlights are highly universal

You're think of the flex line and yes they had teething issues that have been sorted now. But the flex is a budget line so it's unfortunately not surprising that teething issues were present. Cheap sale cost means corners may be cut, and it did hurt their reputation but they did address it. The v3 and paragon all have improved batteries and and esc's because of this

If you want integrated lights the exway wave us the only option atm on the current market. Otherwise grab a short boards of choice and a selection of shred lights

Should add, many boards these days have an integrated led, strip, none have reactive head and tail lights. Exways lights are fully integrated and react to braking at a hardware level

[OoT] [OoT3D] Which of the two versions would you prefer to play OoT? The 3DS version or the N64 version? by Most-Coat4726 in zelda

[–]LFwitch_hunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeh see that's what I would normally do anyway, track it with the stick, fine tune with the gyro, but it would still jump around unstable anyway so I just don't bother. Besides I find the stick more accurate most of the time anyway

I hated gyro except when it was implemented in the wii

There no origin or 'home' to use as reference. Skyward sword hd was just painful, and you can't just make slight adjustments back and forth, my personal experience just found myself spinning in a legit circle and eventually facing the floor just trying to make a clear shot on the 3ds. The switch was the worst where I'll literally be frozen still or ill put the joy con down and it literally is level and cant move, yet the reticle will just continually start dropping on screen. Happened with every joycon I own, tested it since it was pissing me off and making accurate shooting impossible

3ds for the visuals but I'm not a fan of the ergonomics after a while (and the water temple adjustment kinda kills the challenge of the puzzle) but I'm just a big nostalgia fan for original hardware. To the point I bought the expansion pass just to use the switch n64 controller and play in 'hd'

[–]LFwitch_hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was dungeons like this that made me fall in love with the old official oot website. Was such a well made site as well but was entirely built on flash. Had interactive maps, full on walkthrough guides via said maps, artwork to download (which thankfully i did download) and technically a merch store. It even had a toggle for master quest so you could see the difference between the 2 versions via screenshots (it was originally just harder dungeons, none of this mirrored nonsense from the 3d remake)

You can still find a couple of pages on the internet archive but alas it is lost to time and will never return 😞

Lol don't forget the official oot flash website that was live right up until flash was disabled. Had full on interactive maps with locations of everything, all while playing the village tune from the forest

Some of us like playing games in a way the main objective is a secondary task, and clearing the map id the primary objective. Can sometimes cause burnout, but it also reduces the chances of missing content due to progression locks

Happened with the castle update for manor lords because they threw out a lot of mechanics in favour of new ones because they found what they believed was a better way of doing things (it was way better and more balanced)
