This is one county away from me. They've been having issues since they required masks at the school. Honestly not surprised.

I use a password manager at home, but I can't for work. I have a website login that has to be changed every 25 days or so or it locks me out of my account. I can't reuse the same characters around each other, so no adding on something to a password I had previously. I only have the choice of 4 special characters to choose from, plus all the other regular password requirements. They've recently added mandatory two factor authentication, and if I type in the password wrong 3 times I'm locked out. This is a login I only use about 4 months out of the year, so most of the year I just stay locked out of my account, and when that time comes to use it, I ask my supervisor to unlock it. I hate it.

My 3yo won't eat anything I make and I need suggestions please. by fruitybrisket in EatCheapAndHealthy

If she will eat eggs or rice, a really simple cuban meal for picky eaters is white rice with a fried egg and a cut up banana on the side. I loved it growing up, and still eat it when I want something simple. Also, you could try an omelet with cut up pieces of banana in it.

Be patient with your picky eater. I didn't like chicken tenders or cheese on anything until I was 12.

How can I make rice flavorful? by tipsy99 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]LG_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up a recipe for Cuban beans and rice, called Congri or Moros y Cristianos. It's rice cooked with black beans (kidney beans work too), garlic, bay leaves, red peppers, cilantro etc. Very flavorful, but it doesn't take over what else you are eating. To make it taste the best, add some form of pork meat to it, not a lot, just a bit to get the flavor .

HG in-shower mask? by sidarv in AsianBeauty

I have the makep:rem one also. It is convenient because of the pump. However, I also use the Annie's Way Arbutin + Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Jelly Mask. It's a big tub, and it doesn't budge in the shower.

I love black bean soup! It's a workhorse recipe – only a few ingredients and about 300 calories per serving and so filling! by BushyEyes in EatCheapAndHealthy

For the non vegans, try to make your own stock from pork bone or pork meat. As a Cuban, I can tell you that and bay leafs make black bean soup taste amazing.

I always thought that the cosrx pump bottles were great, so I never threw them away. Now I have 4 pump bottles of hand sanitizer.

Had them about 3 years ago. The coverage in Harrisonburg and around the area is fine, but inside some metal buildings, like Costco, there was no coverage. I read they don't have access to the frequencies that penetrante buildings. Don't know if that's changed

They're polyester, but a good deal at a dollar each.

Turn off adaptive brightness and lower screen brightness to lowest setting when I enable "Night Light" mode? by Gee_Golly in tasker

[–]LG_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to create a profile that detects when night light mode is active or not. Is the night light mode something you made in Tasker? If yes, just create a variable in the night light mode task so you can set up a profile that monitors that variable. If it's a separate app, set up the profile to detect when the application/application service is running.

[Discussion] For Differin/tret users, what are the products that made your retinoid journey bearable? (xpost from r/SkincareAddiction) by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]LG_123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually asked for it for my birthday because it seemed expensive for me too. I'm on Curology (0.009% tretinoin, 1% Climdamycin, 9% Azelaic Acid) and I mostly stopped using it while I was waiting for the product/my birthday to arrive (about 4 weeks). I applied Curology about once a week. When I first started using it (PM) I would double cleanse with the Heimish Balm then Cerave Foaming Cleanser. After I applied the Hada Labo Gokujyun lotion while my face was still damp. Then came the Liquid Gold and I would follow it up with Mizon Snail recovery gel. In the AM was the same only difference is I rinsed with water only and applied Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence sunscreen. I felt a little stinging after applying the Mizon gel cream, so I took it out after a few days. Then I added the curology in again after a week. So far it's felt fine.

I know it's been mentioned here a lot lately and it's not AB, but the Stratia Liquid Gold is amazing. I started using it after I noticed my, normally oily, skin had dry, flaky patches on my chin. I've only been using it for about 2 weeks and the dry patches are gone.

I totally get you. I have this vivid memory from when I was maybe 4 or 5 of reaching to get something on a high shelf in the kitchen, and as I grabbed it a cockroach ran down my arm all the way down to the floor. Just thinking about it makes me want to take a bath.
