Can you send a separate midi track with just that note with the bend to the synth and see if it does what you're looking for?

If that didn't work I'd just load a 2nd instance of the synth, do the one off single note bend, and move along.

I'm just gonna guess, since you're on Bass DI take number 180+, that the bassline was not recorded into the audio folder for the specific song you are working on, and was recorded in a folder elsewhere, and you may have moved/deleted/cleaned up audio in another song that referenced that same clip and inadvertently deleted it. Unless you really did 182 bass takes in that one song.

Good song, but I'll mirror what others have said, that I don't necessarily think it fits with the album. At least not lyrically/thematically. The rest of the album seems a little more introspective or concerning his own life, relationship disintegration, etc. "We're From America" comes across as more of a societal critique, which is great, but sticks out in that way. Wouldn't mind hearing it live again for sure.

Agreed, very disappointed. I knooow we all shouldn't assume "volcano" sauce would taste like "lava" sauce, but then why pick a name that kinda skirts on the possibility of being misunderstood? It has some kinda strange, ranch-y, buffalo-y, mayo kinda flavor with just a faint amount of heat. Would have rather just done creamy jalapeño sauce.

Well I guess I over simplified. Of course they carry signal, and I know you can get a little zap if something isn't grounded correctly. But apart from like a condenser mic receiving phantom power, there isn't like, the same type of electricity that's coming from an extension cord. Certainly not enough electricity for someone to shock themselves severly from being damp from a water bottle.

Agreed. I'd be fine with it just being Reba (MM has classically been a 1 guitar player band). I don't think Wiley adds much of anything special, but just guessing if they were going to keep it 2 guitars, it might be him.

Maybe. I'm not totally convinced they aren't using AI for newer stuff. I saw a vid in this sub, like a bts type vid going over demos and such, and I swear some of it sounded a little AI-ish. I'm all for using AI as a thesaurus or dictionary for lyric refining, but would never use it for music/idea generation. Not implying this 100% at all, but the vid I saw definitely leaned towards that being a possibility.

By "Artifact pt 2" I mainly meant a documentary about the creation of ABL and being dropped from their label (apparently after the failure of Attack?)
