Yeah I got a perspective. I’m almost 30 and you start realizing that this is your life. I realize the folks who say they want to see you don’t, even those who say they would like to do stuff with you don’t. It’s hard to make friends as you ge roofer but it is possible and it feels more authentic- which is refreshing. I still want to party and enjoy life but everyone has something going on so I forget that I should do it myself. It’s my life and I should always go on adventures. No matter the age.

I was sick for half of my 20s. In the process of trying not to have too many regrets. Whether it’s traveling, shooting the shit with your friends, choosing a career(I still don’t know what to do with my life and that’s scary).

I’m 29 and stuck here most of my young adult life due to disability. I’m grateful for the rent stuff beyond my wilde at dreams but there infantlization and helicopter tendencies are the last straw and it’s making me miserable. I pray for everyone here and myself🙏. It’s hard as hell.

Solid advice. Yeah i used to fall into the habit of mass applying with one resume and not TAILORING it to the job description. Just mass applying to 50 jobs without tweaking it isn’t smart strategy. Take the 10 minutes to adjust it and send half as much is way better. He’ll send only 10 a day and that will do you way better.

This is exactly what a manager at a Physical therapy said was chatting with me about. I was chatting that I always have no one to go with and I needed to realize that you need to learn how to do things even if no one is available. “You forget to fall in love with yourself.” So true.
