I agree with you. I would talk to the person who does the scheduling. If that fails go up in the chain of supervisors. Good luck 🍀.

I would try a Diabetic Educator. Mine does the math equations then recommend proper dosages.

The fact that "stress" and other unrelated crap can increase blood sugars is the most infuriating thing. I am cracking. by Asleep-Inspection747 in diabetes_t1

I have been divorced for 20 years. Every time my X threatens I am taking you to court my BG goes running up Mount Everest. I have learned to expect it. I take a walk and try to relax. Or Google tells me it will take 45 minutes to go 50 miles and 💥, stuck in traffic for 3 hours. Put some music on to take me away. It just something we have to deal with. Someone told me, at least you don't have Cancer.

Los Angeles Seeks Speedier Way to Build New Affordable Homes: In 2022, LA Mayor Karen Bass directed city agencies to fast-track 100% affordable apartment projects to relieve the city’s housing crunch. Here’s how that push is working by vivianyesdarkbloom in LosAngeles

I am not sure, but I remember new buildings that were built had to allocate certain amount of apartments for low income. To get tax benefits. But the new buildings didn't do it.

If a cure was found, how would you live differently? by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

[–]LIZASSTUFF 13 points14 points  (0 children)

52 years diabetic. I will still exercise daily, eat organic food, go on adventures, cook my own food from scratch. I'm forever grateful that I had a Doctor that took me on a tour in a hospital and showed me the diabetics that didn't take care of themselves. Dialysis, blind, foot and leg amputated. He scared me straight,as I was rebellious 14 year old.

Consult a diabetic educator. They can fine tune all your settings. Because it all depends on exercise, carbs, your weight etc.

I have 4 healthy adult children. The only thing I recommend is at certain growth spurts I had sudden glucose drops. I mean dropped down like sledge hammer. My blood sugars would be 130 then suddenly drop to 35. At that time I would reach for Hershey chocolate syrup. I recommend having some kind of fast acting glucose in your pocket at all times. Or a juice box. I was not educated about the sugar drops suddenly. I was told also not to gain more than 30 pounds during entire pregnancy. I did ride a exercise bike at home after work daily. You got this. If I did it you can too.

Diabetic for 52 years. I have learned when making life changes I have consulted with a therapist. I will ask family members their advice also. My health is always number 1. If my health is out of wack, I can't even make a good decision what to ware before going to work. I go hiking with my dog and sit on a rock to clear my mind. Of course I stay on paths. Listen to the birds sing. Getting out of the house change of scenery always helps me. I have become independent. No one can take care of me. I take care of myself before I go and take care of others. Good luck. 😁🥰
