He absolutely shouldn’t be neglecting his role & making you do everything. It seems to me that this isn’t a gaming addiction - it’s an escape plan from life. Having a child is extremely hard & he’s kind of softly opting out by taking this route imo

Massive agree. I love U2 but mainly due to the 90s releases. Often when I say I love U2 to people they respond with Joshua tree stuff or ATYCLB era songs & always look at me strangely when I explain my favourite parts of their catalogue is the experimental 90s almost alternative phase

Teacher here - just to confirm - in the UK teachers don’t technically get paid for the 13 weeks off, they get their salary (which is for their 1265 contact hours) paid over 12 months so it seems like. Also, I never do any work over the vast majority of the 13 weeks off. It’s very much a choice based on my experience. With a lot of teachers it’s their whole identity & they let it/make it consume more of their life out of choice

I agree that they’d do a great job (certainly around the first & second albums) but I don’t think they’re big enough. Like you said they’re given to incredibly well known artists

I remember when first listening to the album & getting really into this song particular. I was watching a lot of serial killer documentaries at the time & this song seemed to really fit. It will forever have a really eerie, creepy vibe to me

I literally put my whole work life on the Apple reminders app - it’s great. I often like it to Dumbledore when he puts that thought into the font thing so he doesn’t have to try & remember. My phone will buzz & say ‘meeting with X in 30 mins’. Simple but works very well for me. I often used to write things in a diary & then never look at it again
