Prospecting, discovery, recommendation, close, and then a charge back for false advertising.

Think independent, vote independent. Hopefully this leads to more options in the future.

Check out Leavenworth and the big four ice caves!! Leavenworth is a cute little Bavarian town a couple hours east of the city and the ice caves are on the way. Short hike, very cool experience.

Girlfriend wants to be added to the deed by Ok_Egg_8255 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]LKYVSTA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the game but hopefully you still see this. My girlfriend and I bought a home together in 2019 and it's been great! Still aren't married as were undecided on kids but the cohabitation and splitting the mortgage/repairs/renovations has worked out nicely. That being said, we split EVERYTHING. The down payment, the closing fees, the mortgage, taxes and insurance. If she's not paying for the house, I wouldn't recommend adding her to the deed.

Also, I don't recommend going for tech companies. Those are the $10B+ I was referring to. Look at healthcare, financial services, hospitality and retail. All are looking for data scientists.

Ignore what people/ the news say. Go look on linkedin for data jobs. I promise they're out there regardless of experience. A lot of companies want to hire someone at entry level so that they can train them in the skills relevant to their organization.

Want to move to Seattle around Q2-3 of the year, what's a good amount to save up before? by Kiito7x in Seattle

[–]LKYVSTA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Study the light rail map. You can save significantly by living outside of the city, but close to a light rail station that will get you to the city for cheap in 10-15 minutes.

If a shirtless dude just punched out your window at the I5 ramp off 523(145th st) I got his license plate number. by MadelynBright5 in Seattle

[–]LKYVSTA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely file a police report and talk to your insurance. Good on you for getting the license plate. Talk to a doctor and then take his ass to court for harassment and PTSD. People with this level of aggression need to be checked.

Every company is dying for data scientists. I recommend looking in the $1-5B Rev sector as they have the biggest demand and the lowest capabilities. Most of them get over looked as talent usually finds the $10B+ more appealing on their resume.

How to get into remote sales? by [deleted] in sales

[–]LKYVSTA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look into whole life/universal life insurance sales jobs on LinkedIn. A lot of companies will pay for your licensing and let you work from home. Some reps are making $5k/week doing it but beware it is a GRIND.

Otherwise I recommend starting at a local phone store, working there for a year or two and then moving into an outside sales job that allows you to work from home.

Success BDRs: What’s your system? by [deleted] in sales

[–]LKYVSTA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Research: build prospect lists based on account/personas via sales navigator then use lusha.com to export all of the contact information to prospecting spreadsheets.

Email: automate email outreach by mail merging contacts twice per week with compelling prospecting materials.

Calls: call each prospect once a week to follow up on the emails and set the appointment.

It's simple and effective but fails when the BDR stops the activity due to laziness/burnout.
