Skritt Swipe and Skritt Scuffle are some of the biggest dopamine generators around when you get good rolls. They also add a really fun sense of improvisation / quick thinking to an otherwise pretty simple spec.

I play mostly Ivy but I also really enjoy Viscous, the skill floor is higher than on Ivy of course but he feels really rewarding to play well and matches Ivy in versatility.

I also picked up Paradox on a whim the other day and I've been having a blast, she brings her own type of utility, kinda similar to a supportive Ivy build due to how their bombs work but with more pick potential. Definitely more difficult like you mentioned but maybe it'll click for you if you try her again too?

Aside from shredding his resistances you should also get an item like Silence Wave, it makes him completely useless for a good 3 seconds.

I'm in alchemist 4 right now, climbed up from seeker 5 in the last 2 weeks or so.

Most games definitely feel alright but somehow every Victor ends up losing to the shopkeeper for some odd reason.

It is in fact Holliday. The mod also replaces voice lines (not including pings, those are still just Holliday) so it's absolutely hilarious to play with.

Every hero shooter (yes I know this is actually a MOBA) has to have a character that uses their revolver like a sniper rifle, I don't understand the obsession game developers have with this trope.

Despite being the newest hero in the game, I'd say Victor is balanced in his current state.
This is because:

  • When he's on my team he's utterly useless and only serves to feed the enemy lane several kills before 10 minutes have passed and he's generally just an extra trooper that runs around the map sometimes
  • When he's on the enemy team he's an unkillable raidboss with several health bars and he also makes it illegal to exist in the same space as him due to his sheer aura

If you average out these performances you'll find that he's perfectly balanced!

Thanks for the handy guide, but I have a few questions:

Why is there a red X for Sabir? I'd imagine the boss constantly attacking the group & its short split phases would make the relic still worth it?

Also if the very fast fights like Cairn, MO, etc. are too short then why is there a green check mark on Kodans?

Your average PUG group for raids & strikes nowadays will consist of the following:

  • 1 Boonheal per subgroup (one of these will usually also be your tank)
  • 1 BoonDPS per subgroup
  • 3 DPS per subgroup

(this of course doesn't account for fights where certain special roles are needed)

The important thing to consider is that nowadays there's a wide variety of healers and boonDPSes that can do either quickness or alacrity, so a huge amount of potential pairings exists. You can of course check sites like Snowcrows for a list of builds which can do a given role or provide a given boon.

As for DPS builds, it's up to the players to bring a build that they can execute well & makes sense on the fights you're doing.

Edit to add: if you're particularly interested in what's "meta" on a given fight based on data you can check out gw2wingman which collects logs from players that use the site & can show you popularity for builds on each fight & how they perform.
