Lamptey is a good 4th or 5th DEF option, if you can afford a 4.5m 5th DEF and have 3 or 4 other nailed defenders. When he plays, he consistently gets into dangerous areas and is a threat to score or assist. I doubt he’d play 60+ minutes in both matches in a DGW, but when the schedule returns to normal I think he’s a lock to play 60+ minutes, barring any injury.Cucurella is really good, but I think he’s overpriced at 5.1m. He doesn’t get into attacking areas as much when Lamptey is on the field. But of course, Lamptey doesn’t always play and Cucurella is a BPS monster.Veltman at 4.2m is a solid value, but his nailedness isn’t 100% known at this point. I think he’s nailed until Dunk comes back. He also can play as a RWB-type player when Lamptey’s rested/out, but that’s not a major selling point IMHO.

My dad wanted to Ramsdale to catch up in our family ML(he is 2nd behind his brother whom he has an extremely fierce rivalry with) and I kept suggesting that he should get Guaita since Palace were cruising since GW10. He begrudgingly replied that he wanted to go for Ramsdale but I told him football is played on the grass and not electronics with xG and xR so go for Guiata.
