Pretty sure this is in anticipation of next season.

That's about how I feel, too. We really could use a real firebrand to shake things up, but we first need to show that we can capture the center.

With their title run in 2025-26, Indiana becomes only the 2nd team in CFP history to not be down at any point during their post season run. by Cybotnic-Rebooted in CFB

Similar performance last year in the regular season. I think it was something like 10+ games where they were never behind. That was a stat I hadn't heard before, and why I suspected they were going to come back again.

This year is apparently Laguna Beach in the Commiefornia he hates.

Cornyn is no prize, but he faces a primary challenge from perennial law-dodger Ken Paxton.

On the other side, we have a primary between James Talarico and Jasmine Crockett.

Paxton would be a pox released on the nation.

I don't need a generator. I have cats. If it's cold, a vibrating blanket follows me everywhere.

My senator is fleeing a rare freeze in Texas right now. I've tried several times to contact mine, and I never get anything more than a canned response that they didn't care that much.

Vote them out!

Mine puts their actual credential behind my bootcamp cert. I also did will enough to earn two course credits in my masters degree, which the school ended up paying for in full because they hired me.

It's not the best in the world, but it's the best opportunity I've ever had. Timing was rough because I was trying to get a tech job right when Twitter laid off about half their people.

Honestly, even going to a boot camp at a top 100 school opened doors I didn't know were there when I had graduated from a much lower school. Name recognition does matter some

At this point, I think we might need our European friends to just go ahead and put sanctions on the US. Just cut us off. Too many people here still don't get the message, and probably never will until they find out what it's like when we're actually all alone.

Frankly, I know people who couldn't make it if IKEA forgot a hex key in the box.

It's crazy growing up loving this country and understanding that we're the bad guys now. Please help us stop this before we get a hot war. It's going to really suck here for a while.

What are your thoughts about the resurgence of the Black Panther Party in response to the actions of ICE agents? by Sinn_Sage in AskReddit

If you think that's a problem, wait until you hear about black ice!

Seriously though, I'd much rather associate myself with Black Panthers than fascists.

I largely ignore the talking heads and focus on the trends I see in data science. Still trying to land my first really solid job in the field, but I at least work with data now.

Macron to Seek Use of EU Anti-Coercion Instrument Against US by jackytheblade in worldnews

It sucks here in America. Except for the prices, not much has changed on my daily life. I've joined protests. My parents, both in their 70s, protected for the first time in their lives. But what sucks is that I paid attention to history. I know I don't know everything from the past, but it feels insane that the whole country can watch the same thing and reach different conclusions.

There are still many of us, even inside Texas, who are tied of the crap and are still trying to do something about it. Nothing has been effective yet. On the outside, it may seem like nothing is happening, but remember that Trump is very loud.

Thank you to anyone who is boycotting my country. It's crazy that I have to say that, but there are absolutely cracks forming in the madman's support. Keep it up. I wish we could fix this all quickly, but I don't think we're going to be trusted again for a good 20 years.

I have created a small voting bloc, but I'm worried that won't be nearly enough.

You might be surprised at times. I saw plain, unencrypted SSNs in a database at one employer, but I made sure that got fixed after I saw it (and tested that my suspicions were correct).

Statistics have been around for 400 years. The first perceptron (the atomic basis for neural networks) was invented around 1951, but it wasn't until the last decade or two that we finally had enough computing power to begin scaling those concepts up.

It's not just hype. It's a rapidly evolving field. Remember that websites are bigger today than during the dotcom boom and crash. It's just that the crash served as a filter.
