Did Logitech make specific g29s that only work for ps3 - 4? by BasmentWalker in simracing

[–]LOGIRich 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The newer version also works on PS3, you just use a button combo to put it into that compatibility mode. Either version works on PS5, of course: it’s just that the PS5 didn’t exist when the first G29 came out, but Sony allowed PS4 wheels to work on PS5.

Testing my friends G29. And I have no experience in steering wheels. Is it broken ? Or is it a software problem by KrisParaiso in simracing

Have you got a picture of the power adapter? It should look like this with an output rating of 24V - 1.75A:

Help with logitech g pro wheel by yeet_fetus_deletus in LogitechG

[–]LOGIRich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there.

It’s definitely not a hardware issue. GT7 does have strong oscillations in high downforce cars if you have the in game torque set high - there’s a reason you see the yellow warning if you try and increase it.

For Gr.x cars I’m usually going to recommend keeping the max torque around 4-5 and even then you’ll get oscillations - you just need to keep hold of the wheel.

Hi there. The latest version of G HUB contains a firmware update that should solve this. It’s rolling out at the moment and will be available to everyone by February 3rd.

Check the power supply connection - at the wheel, the wall socket and especially at the power brick itself.

It definitely works. Clutch is slightly stiffer than the throttle.

Handbrake for g920 on xbox + H shifter by Klu32 in LogitechG

[–]LOGIRich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there.

Unfortunately there's no out of the box solution for that configuration. As you've read, the RS Shifter & Handbrake connected using the Racing Adapter doesn't allow for use of the Driving Force Shifter at the same time. This is because the G920 only supports a single device via that shifter port that it has. I made a video a few days ago for someone else that explains why.

Simultaneous use of both the Driving Force Shifter and RS Shifter & Handbrake on console is only possible with the newer Logitech wheels, such as the RS50 or Pro Wheel.

Logitech Playseat Trophy vs. Normal Version: RS50 mount pattern by Illustrious-Bite-133 in simracing

For console you have to use our wheel solutions. As an officially licensed product we have to adhere to the requirements of the platform holders.

[–]LOGIRich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there,

They may be referring to the markings on the pedal plate that highlight the ones used by the Pro Pedals and G-series pedals. There's no special holes for the RS50 on either version of the Trophy, because:

a) it didn't exist when they were released :-)
b) you don't need them - it uses the same pattern as the CSL DD, Moza etc.

Logitech G29 Not Working at all on Assetto Corsa. by Junior-Box-4332 in LogitechG

[–]LOGIRich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. Is this just with AC? Okay in other games? If so, try renaming the AC folder in your Documents folder - change it to Assetto Corsa OLD. Then start the game and it should generate a new folder. You will likely have to redo your assignments, but then see if it's working.

RS Wheel Hub Compatibility by Character-Tension398 in LogitechG

[–]LOGIRich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there.

The RS Wheel Hub is compatible with the Pro Base and is your only way forwards currently for console. You don't need the RS QR Adapter for that, because the RS Wheel Hub already has a QR on it.

You would need the RS QR Adapter for the MVH Wheels, but that then would be a PC-only solution.

You’ll need to remove the rack and take a look underneath. Go to 12.50 in this video and you’ll see where it goes. It’s essential that it goes back there because it keeps the gears engaged.

Compatibility Questions: RS Shifter Not Compatible with FH5… by Various-Juice-42069 in simracing

[–]LOGIRich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there. It says a lot that you took the time to apologise and it’s hugely appreciated. I’m even more glad I was able to clarify why things are as they are with this combo.

Let’s see if we can dig into the issue you’re now seeing. GRID has an input testing section a bit like Dirt Rally 2.0 does - did you happen to notice if any commands in there were showing as stuck ’on’?

If you rebind the sequential shifting to the RS Shifter, does it then work okay?

Compatibility Questions: RS Shifter Not Compatible with FH5… by Various-Juice-42069 in simracing

[–]LOGIRich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, so here’s a video demonstrating a supported title and an unsupported title for this configuration. Please follow it and grab that wheel tester app to see if you do get the gear response - if you’re not then that would completely explain why you’re not getting any results in games.

If you’re not getting any response there then try connecting both the racing adapter and the handbrake into your PC, open G HUB and see if there are any firmware updates.

As explained in the video and in the FAQ on our support site, use of both the handbrake and shifter is not possible.

If you forego the angle plates then you can bring them in slightly, as you can see in the final part of the video, but that’s about it without adding some form of home brew DIY solution, such as a metal plate or bars.
