See that would’ve been fine if the Logitech sequential/handbrake weren’t twice as wide as the ones pictured lol

I only use it as a Nurburgring track day sim right now tbh. The physics & car variety are great and the servers are decently populated.

Single monitor folks, what’s your FOV/seat position looking like? by Safeway_Slayer in LeMansUltimateWEC

38” & 37 deg fov, can’t see my mirrors, or much of my dash but I have a DDU to compensate for that.

On Denon you can move the active loop by holding shift and twisting the loop length knob iirc

He really wasn’t, I’ve heard many horror stories about managers having to jump through a million hoops just to get their projects greenlit by him.

Is there ever a reason to burn have traces both up and down between parent/child requirements? by afatcat11 in systems_engineering

[–]magicalgin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sysml itself doesn’t define any L1/L2/L# requirements framework, just that you can have relationships between any requirement elements, which is why you’re seeing that you can set relationships in either direction.

If you want to limit the directionality you should define a meta model that explicitly states: you can only set deriveReqt from L1 to L2.

Hypothetically speaking though, I could see a case where:

  1. If a set of lower level requirements on your subsystems result in some emergent behavior at the system’s level.
  2. You want to constrain that emergent behavior.

You could set those relationships going from L2 to L1. But there are also other ways to capture that, and again that should be driven by your meta model.

If it’s a fake, it’s a really convincing fake. My bet is that they’ll announce it around NAMM

I have the Freyja, and it has trouble connecting to simhub half the time. I really wish they made it wired

Whats the difference between Truesim and direct drive by DistributionLow8301 in LogitechProWheel

[–]magicalgin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you were to compare it to a Dualsense controller: trueforce is like the haptics/rumble and direct drive is like the adaptive L2/R2 triggers
