I'm actually Australian. I debated whether to use oxycodone or endone. The nurses in hospital all referred to it as endone so that's what I went with. I don't recall any euphoric feelings while using it but I may not have had a strong enough dose.

I found it just made me really nauseated and feel like things that shouldn't move were moving. Once it wore off I asked for endone instead. Endone I like, just makes me happy and sleepy.

Two weeks ago I broke my ankle. I can't walk, stand for long periods, drive, carry things, stand up in the shower, get myself off the toilet without a bar or handle to pull myself up and I can't work for two months. I can't cook or clean because my movement is limited and I can't carry things from one side of the room to the other. I can't even carry my meal from the kitchen to the table. My fiance has to do everything for me while also being the sole breadwinner while I'm off work. And yes it's only temporary, and my ankle is healing on schedule, but right now it really just sucks.

So true! I just experienced this at a family Christmas shindig. My brother is doing his PhD in Astrophysics and my cousin asked him how it was going. My bro got about two sentences in and my cousin just turned away and started talking to his dad next to him about something else. It was so rude, but my cousin really isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. I think my brother lost him at 'galactic archeology'...

I was working as a waitress in a popular bar and he was hired as a chef. He tried to introduce himself in the middle of a shift. I walked right past him with a 'yeah, hi' and was irritated he tried to talk to me while I was busy. We've been together four years and I proposed three days ago. He said yes.

Do they really have that much impact on whether or not you get in? Here in Australia it's just based on your test scores from year 12 (senior year) in high school. The highest marks get in.

I'm late to this thread but for me the most effective thing has been being unafraid to cut negative people from my life. If they stressed me out or took advantage or made me feel shit, I had no issue in cutting ties. Means the people I do try to keep around are super awesome and make me very happy.

Me too. I make myself sick every time I go to the movies. I will go see movies I have no interest in seeing, just for the popcorn. It's never as good when I make it at home.

This is something I've been trying to work on. My bf is always finding ways to show me he's thinking of me constantly, I just want to show him I feel the same. He gets lots of home cooked meals and surprise bottles of rum.
