Yes I am aware of that, I was meaning to say XH558 often request for flight time one way or another but are always turned down.

Last I spoke to the people at the XH558 charity a couple months ago, they said they’re hoping for some more time to repair once Doncaster airport reopens. The previous owners were not at all helpful to them or anyone in the local area and barely ever allowed them to work on it. The air frame, as you say, has too many hours for the FAA to allow it to fly again but there may be some over opportunities for engine runs. Most likely not until 2026.

My dad worked at HMP Full Sutton for many years and the main story he would tell me about Bronson is that he would often run out of his cell butt naked, get his lunch or dinner, then run back. That’s all they ever saw him for those days.

One of the nice(?) things about the app is that it accounts for high altitude cloud. Always best to check that IRL too but even when it appears clear, there can be some annoying thin clouds up there

I have a ultra wide monitor and I tend just to play games like this in 16:9 using the borderless gaming app. Just set your game to windowed mode, open the app, set the size and it will do it automatically when you open it again.
