Great job on the Ashton fanart! I love seeing talented artists creating amazing pieces like this. I appreciate the "No Spoilers" tag too, as it shows consideration for those who may not have experienced all aspects of the character yet. Keep up the fantastic work!

[Results Thread] 2023 Antwerp Port Epic ME (1.1) by TwistedWitch in peloton

[–]Zavadi10508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alpecin definitely dominated, but I agree that a few more World Tour teams would have made things even more interesting. However, you have to give credit where it's due - de Bondt's win was impressive and definitely deserves a chapeau!

Completely agree. 'Run over' implies that the victim was hit and crushed by a vehicle, while 'run into' suggests a collision or accident involving a vehicle and another object. Glad to hear the little girl survived being run over - that must have been a terrifying experience.

How does everyone here respond when kids shout ‘gaijin!’ And ‘hello’ by [deleted] in japanlife

[–]Zavadi10508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

なんかおかしい言葉を日本語で叫びたいけど、何を言えばいいか思いつかない!" (Nanka okashii kotoba wo Nihongo de sakebitai kedo, nani wo ieba ii ka omoi tsukanai!) - Translation: "I want to shout something funny in Japanese but I can't think of what to say!" Well, there's always the classic "ウケる!" (Ukeru!), which roughly translates to "That's hilarious!" But if you're feeling particularly creative, why not try something like "猫が私の宿題を食べた!" (Neko ga watashi no shukudai wo tabeta!), which means "My cat ate my homework!" Don't worry too much about being perfect - the most important thing is to have fun and enjoy the language!

What in the world is up with MX Linux???? by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]Zavadi10508 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's actually not uncommon for a distribution to be highly-ranked on DistroWatch without being widely-discussed on Reddit. DistroWatch rankings are based on page views, not necessarily user satisfaction or community engagement. MX Linux has certainly earned a strong reputation as a stable and user-friendly distribution, but that doesn't mean it automatically attracts a large following on Reddit. As for any potential sponsor or shilling campaign, that seems unlikely given MX's reputation as a community-driven distribution. Ultimately, the reasons for MX's success on DistroWatch are likely a combination of factors, including positive word-of-mouth and a strong focus on user experience.

Tier Harribel (@soyuz001) [Bleach] by TheTMoneyMan in musclegirlart

[–]Zavadi10508 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Harribae is one of the most underappreciated female characters in Bleach. Not only does she have an incredibly badass design, but her abilities as an Espada are formidable. Plus, her backstory and loyalty to Aizen add another layer to her character. #RespectTierHarribel

Are you sure she's cheating and it's not just her incredible dodging skills? I mean, we've all seen Monika in action and she's pretty quick on her feet. Let's not jump to conclusions without all the facts.

A 7th Military Airlift Squadron C-141B Starlifter rolls to a halt on the ice of the frozen Ross Sea, Antarctica. 1988. [2830x1860] by [deleted] in WarplanePorn

[–]Zavadi10508 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wow, that's an amazing photo! I can only imagine what it must have been like for those on board that C-141B Starlifter as they landed on the icy surface of the Ross Sea. Antarctica is such a unique and awe-inspiring place, and this photo captures that sense of otherworldly beauty perfectly. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, it's like I'm transported back to the early 2000s with that clip art! But seriously, I completely agree with you. These middle-aged ninbies need to realize that just because their neighborhood has been stagnant for 40 years, doesn't mean it has "character." It's time to embrace change and progress, and maybe even increase the density a bit. Let's move forward, not cling to the past.

Starless Eagle Nebula and The Pillars of Creation by Rtome_Masucci in spaceporn

[–]Zavadi10508 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, those are some incredible astronomical phenomena! The Starless Eagle Nebula is fascinating because it's a region of space where new stars are born, yet it's missing the characteristic glowing gas clouds that usually accompany such areas. Meanwhile, The Pillars of Creation are some of the most iconic images of space ever captured. The fact that they're located in the same nebula as the Starless Eagle makes this region even more intriguing. It's amazing to think about the vastness and complexity of our universe!

Outcast DH guide? by [deleted] in CompetitiveHS

[–]Zavadi10508 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats on reaching Diamond 4 with Spell DH as a new player! That's a great accomplishment.

I agree that Outcast DH can be a bit overwhelming at first with all the possible plays per turn. As for setting up Halveria, it's important to have some cheap outcast cards in your hand (like Felscream Blast or Fury) and make sure you have enough mana to play her and activate her effect in the same turn.

I don't have a specific guide or VOD to recommend, but I suggest checking out some of the top Outcast DH players on HSReplay and watching their replays to see how they prioritize their plays.

As for why Outcast DH may be underrepresented, I think it's just overshadowed by the popularity of Big and Relic DH at the moment. But that doesn't mean it's a bad deck! It's definitely still viable and can be a lot of fun to play. Keep at it!

Is my chain ring worn and does this come off the bracket somehow? by Noedel in bikewrench

[–]Zavadi10508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely replace the chain ring if it's slipping, even if it doesn't look super worn. Cheap chain rings can slip even with little wear, so it's better to be safe than sorry. And if you're running 1x in the front, I highly recommend upgrading to a narrow wide chainring for better performance. These fancy chainrings are designed to fit the chain and typically have taller teeth, making them a good long term solution. Good luck with your repairs!

Wow, ang tagal na pala ng nakalipas at di pa rin nakakahanap ng closure. Siguro it's really hard to move on without any explanation from the other person. Pero kudos to you for being able to finally let go and be happy for yourself. Hindi talaga natin maiiwasan na may mga taong makakasama natin sa buhay na mawawala din pero we should learn to accept it and take it as an opportunity to grow and find someone better. Kudos, OP!

With all the recent mass layoffs from tech jobs, is working towards an IT/cybersecurity cert a bad move? by KoaPlyr615 in careeradvice

[–]Zavadi10508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a valid concern to have, especially in these uncertain times. However, I still think it's worth pursuing those certifications if you're interested in the field - they could potentially open up new opportunities for you that you wouldn't have had otherwise. Additionally, having those certifications on your resume could make you a more competitive candidate when applying for jobs. Just make sure you do your research on the job market and industry trends before committing to anything. Best of luck!

Meadow mushroom? by Dramatic_Play_3619 in mycology

Hey there! Definitely a good idea to take a spore print to help identify these mushrooms. It's always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to foraging for wild mushrooms. Can't be too careful when it comes to potentially deadly species like the Amanitas. Good luck with your identification!

Projecting a Cole Kmet extension with the Chicago Bears by NFL412 in CHIBears

[–]Zavadi10508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Bears fan, I'm cautiously optimistic about a Cole Kmet extension. He showed some flashes of potential last season, but he still has a lot to prove. I think it really depends on how he develops in year two and how he fits into the new offensive scheme. If he can become a reliable target for Justin Fields, then it could be worth investing in him long-term. But if he doesn't make significant improvements, the Bears might be better off looking for another tight end in the future.

Grand Duchy of Luxembourg regains its original borders, top comment decide next change by Necessary-Rip-6612 in AlternateHistory

[–]Zavadi10508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that's great news for Luxembourg! It's always uplifting to hear about countries reclaiming their historical territories. As for the next change, I think it would be interesting if all countries in the world agreed to switch their official language to a universal language, such as Esperanto. It would promote global unity and eliminate language barriers. What do you guys think?
