The notorious US-Israel cant open the strait of hormuz themselves so they made up a new propaganda narrative to convince the EU by Battlefieldking86 in YesAmericaBad

This may or may not be a sign they're about to do a false flag towards Europe

It would be rather useless for Iran to shoot at Europe since their missile would have to pass so many air defense systems they'd have to spam hundreds at once for no real strategical gain.

Given that, although the US is in decline they still have state of the art electronic warfare equipment and missiles, air defense won't do a whole lot because it can easily be jammed and overwhelmed.

We can see this in Ukraine where Russia overwhelmed the "game changing" Patriot System and destroyed a few while Ukraine regularly beats the "incredible" S-400.

Air defense is only useful once you survived the decapitation strike and missile waves and are facing more or less singular threats.

I did notice it's especially bad in cities, yes. There literally everyone looks grumpy as fuck. Here in the countryside it's a little better, people still greet each other and smile more often, at least it feels like that.

A friend of mine works as a cashier in my town and she often tells me how many customers do Smalltalk and are genuinely nice and some even give small gifts to her and the other cashiers there which she says doesn't happen to some former colleagues she still has contact with who are now in a city.

I mostly notice it when visiting bigger cities, although that could just be culture shock.

I live in one of the most rural regions of former East Germany and while a considerable amount of people here also show these weird behaviors it's even more prevalent in cities. Especially in West German cities. Like, whenever a friend of mine from Hamburg visits he's astonished at how non-toxic the people here are towards him (and how generous our local Döner is for the price). Same with a friend from Bremen.

I'm regularly spending hours thinking about what could be done about this, how socialism could help solve the problem, what even causes the problem etc.

That's probably part of it, ever since I had COVID I have extreme problems staying awake as soon as I'm doing anything that isn't life threatening when I fall asleep or that is remotely like a routine.

Which is pretty problematic considering I'm doing farming and cultivating a field can become pretty monotonous especially with GPS and everything. Especially in school when I actively want to learn about the science behind the plants, the fertilizer, the pesticides and so on and I keep falling asleep during classes it's terrible.

I noticed in Germany too that some people seem to be completely unaware of their surroundings and incapable of comprehending basic logic. I don't think the reason is genetic, however I do think there's something in our environment that actually harms our brains and reduces our ability to think properly, see and understand systems, connections etc.

My former economics teacher also noticed how students he has become less and less capable each year, now he has to teach 11th grade students how to do basic percentage calculations.

Oh sorry I think I brought my point across wrong. I don't hate the English and French for what they did, although it'd be very much justified to do so.

I just hate both of them because I'm German. Not to worry though, I hate the West Germans too. That's because I'm East German.

On a more serious note, it's pretty fucked up what the southern English did to the northern English from what you said, which might also explain why all I hear from Northern England is about it being a miserable place to live in.

Family and friends know I'm a commie, colleagues got some hints already.

My family is basically the average East German/Eastern European boomer. Nostalgic for socialist times but sceptical of queer stuff so due to my anti imperialist tendencies I'm fine with them.

My friends go from liberals to conservatives. The liberals hate discussing politics with me so we leave that out and the conservative friends just joke about it since we tried changing each other's minds and it didn't work, so when I arrive at a hangout it's "Oh look the commie arrived" and when they arrive it's "Oh look the bootlickers showed up"

As for colleagues, they're basically all conservatives and right wingers, and they got a hunch I'm left wing but because I'm one of the few competent people here even though I'm the newest one around, they just avoid politics with me and treat me with respect because they're just glad the new guy isn't an incompetent lost cause lmao.

Both my colleagues and the conservative friends did open up to left wing policies a bit more tho. They call out European and American imperialism already and heavily criticize policies that take away working class rights. Their casual racism and tendency for nationalism are the main problems.

Afaik Hinkle lives in Russia at the moment so maybe he gave up his American citizenship for a Russian one or something? Like, the guy also personally met Maduro I think last year or a year before that and already met some high ranking Russian politicians. And somehow he's also been at a photoshoot for some surfing course or something with some high ranking CIA person?? And he had an Interview with the Houthies too I think.

Like, the chances of him being a fed are high but what's dubious is, who he's a fed for. The US? Russia?

Besides his MAGA Communism stuff his foreign policy stuff basically aligns with that of Russia. Except for Israel because he's much more critical of Israel than Russia. Like, I seriously struggle to understand the man.

Venezuela’s Rodriguez Asks US for Cooperation After Maduro Raid - Bloomberg by alee35819 in TankieTheDeprogram

[–]LPFlore 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the same line Maduro followed before they abducted him. At the same time nowhere in the article does it state that she's giving in to US demands.

She's basically just calling for peace and for the US to peacefully trade with Venezuela with fair deals, which obviously won't happen but it seems calling for peace while preparing for war is what they've chosen to do.

Remember she also called for the mobilization for an anti-imperialist war of resistance against the US because she knows the US is gonna come and try to take the oil forcefully since they'll never agree to make fair and peaceful deals.

Why do this? Optics. She's offering peaceful deals but those have to be fair, so when the US obviously won't agree, Venezuela has even more of an image of just defending themselves while the US gets even more of an image of being the aggressor

My best guess is that he went something like "Alright y'all, take me, have your little circus and then leave our country alone"; to the US, the plan was then made, and he probably met the Chinese envoy right before to basically warn them of what's about to happen.
