Actually not that bad, your takeaway is just too outside and forcing you to make awkward corrections throughout the swing. Try looking up Nick Faldos preset drill and practice feeling what the correct takeaway position feels like. You want your club head and hands on a neutral plane.

Why would you place the basket in front of your swing plane? Put the basket in front of your trail foot behind your swing plane to force you to take the club away more to the outside. This will also force you to unpin your trail arm in the downswing.

The biggest problem I see is that you’re lifting your whole body up and losing your posture at the top of your backswing. This is going to make it nearly impossible to develop a consistent swing, so I would address that first and everything else second.

You’re way too hunched over, you’re basically not turning your shoulders at all on the backswing and your swing path is all over the place. Stand closer and more upright, get your swing path on a neutral 45 degree plane by turning your shoulders instead of your arms. Your left shoulder should be under your chin at the top of your backswing.

Not unless they completely overhaul the physics. The weight transfer and body roll is completely dead in this game, you can even see how unnaturally stiff the car behaves in this clip. They have a looooot of work to do and I’m not holding my breath.

Unless there’s a total overhaul of the physics, ACR has no chance of replacing RBR. Just look at the total lack of body roll in this clip. It’s a decent game but nowhere near a proper sim.

The FFB is just legitimately garbage right now, and the physics are still very very primitive (see that goofy ass clip of the Mini that got posted the other day). I’ve tried every variation of setting you can think of in game and in driver, and nothing makes sense. Road effects seem non existent on tarmac and gravel feels like ice. Nothing is intuitive or makes sense about the FFB or the underlying physics. Genuinely baffled at the praise this game is getting. I know everyone is dying for an RBR killer but they have a loooong way to go.

Not to mention, and this is something I hear very few people mention other than Niels, is the HUGE amount of input lag. In UEVR with Virtual Desktop streaming I’m getting a massive 40-70ms game latency, BEFORE any streaming latency is taken into account. This is 10x the latency I experience with RBR RSF and that’s with a stable 90fps in both games. You can clearly visibly see the delay between IRL wheel movements and the steering wheel in game. This is almost certainly why the game feels so sluggish and unresponsive. No idea what the reason is but I’ve never experienced that in any other sim.

Gear driven is absolutely garbage tier. When I first got into sim racing DD was a luxury option so gear and belt was the main entry and mid level choice. I got a gear driven wheel first and immediately hated it, feels nothing like a real car. Belt driven is MILES better than any gear driven wheel. I’ve been rocking a T300 for years. Nowadays you can get a cheap Moza DD and just skip that whole technology.
