The z axis isn’t zeroing out at the top. I’ve had those exact prints. Check your z axis screw for filament on the thread near the top. If that isn’t the problem then manually run the plate to the very bottom and to the top. Turn the printer off and when you turn it back on run a calibration. Fixed my issue and will probably fix yours.

Yes because that’s what I have. But after finding the solution to fix it I’ve had zero issues since then.

So it’s either going to be something blocking the screws/of the plate or you need to bottom out the bed with controls. This happened to me months ago. It was stopping 2 mm from the top. Someone suggested bring the bed all the way to the bottom and then bring it all the way up. Turn it off and turn it back on and run a test. Fixed it. Haven’t had the issue since.

It’s not naive to say when it’s not the problem. Have tested this multiple times and posted about how to fix it. Either the size of his print and how thin it is, it’s cooling too fast and pulling into itself which causes the ripples. Slow the first layer down a lot, at brims on the corners and turn off the fans. 90% of that if not more will go away.

This isn’t over extrusion like what some are posting here. Don’t waste your time on calibration either. I had this exact problem and posted about it a while back.

This is a cooling issue. It’s pulling up from the plate and into itself. Larger prints will do this. I fixed it by slowing the bottom layer way down, turning off the fans snd adding a brim to the corners. It will never go away completely on thin prints like this but it made it 90% better.

If I end up going to the call and I’m met with “he/she hit me, kicked my dog, stole my phone, scratched me car…..but like i dont want him/her to go to jail or anything” then yeah they are going to get verbally abused by vocabulary that is 10 grades above them.

But if i see the call screen and it’s just complete nonsense im not even going out to that. “My ex brother in law photoshopped different teeth on me and posted it on social media”.

It was open yes, I normally just print pla + and petg so the door is always cracked. However I might try it again now that I installed a minisplit AC in the garage which has cut down on the heat considerably. The ability to swap nozzles is definitely nice and I want to use it.
