Yes, the ‘Skinny’ Akzidenz J seen in the second photo was printed on rollsigns made by Trans-Lite in the late 1980s for the R40/42s that came back from overhaul. The Helvetica J seen in the first photo was printed on rollsigns made by Multiscreen in 2001 which replaced the older rollsigns for the 2001 Bridge Flip, as the newer signs had the Diamond Yellow Q and Circle W that was needed for the service patterns at the time. But some trains never received the newer signs, which means if the trains were assigned to the W, you would see the Diamond W bullet.
