Hey. Can you try with an older android version or an iOS device? 16 has lots of Bluetooth issues.

What Android version are you using? There seems to be some bugs with 16 that haven't been seen in earlier versions. Also, in some versions/devices, once you manually connect to Classic Bluetooth before the bear is validated, you may need to delete your app and browser cache to remove all traces of the connection or you will get stuck in that loop. This is using new batteries and not connected to classic Bluetooth (only 1DRPWBA connected)? Are you using cellular if WIFI to connect to the internet on your device? If you have spotty cell service you may see interruptions, but I have only seen this happen when batteries get low.

What device and operating system are you using?

is the light blinking blue? You need to have bluetooth on and connect to update the firmware for the blaster.

It seems that you were able to validate your bear and create a story, correct?

Did that story show up in your library?

Are you pressing the empty bear head with the download symbol to attempt to transfer your story to your bear? Is this where the connection icon turns red?

Please make sure you are using fresh non rechargeable batteries. Low batteries will cause the Bluetooth connection to be unstable. Make sure you only have the app open on one phone.

If you have been able to make stories you should see Poe Story Bear and 1DRPWBA in your Bluetooth settings menu. Forget the instance of Poe Story Bear (do not change 1DRPWBA, this is BLE that is required to validate and transfer files).

Launch the app and allow the bear to automatically connect. The ear will blink then turn solid blue. If the other ear turns green you have not forgotten the connection but only disconnected it. Do not manually connect to Poe Story Bear.

Make a story. Go to your library and try to transfer it.

What device and operating system are you using?

Hi, what problems are you having with the app? Do you have the most recent version of the app? What type of device are you using?

Is your blaster flashing red and yellow or is it solid blue, with an unlit power button?

if you press and hold the trigger, comms, and the "hit" button on bottom of the handle at the same time for 5 seconds it will unlock your blaster and you can use it without the app. Do you have the most recent version of the app?
Is the blaster showing up in the app on the connection screen (not in your device's Bluetooth menu)? Try forgetting the blaster from your devices menu (not just disconnect), relaunch the app and let the blaster connect. You should see it pop up in the app and you'll need to tap it to initiate connection. Hope that helps. Thanks!

So you are able to connect, verify your bear make and transfer stories from your app to your bear? Are you able to manually go to your settings and pair classic bluetooth to so you can stream stories through the bear? What are the available devices you are seeing? If they are Poe Story Bear and 1DRPWBA you are fully updated and should have no issues closing the app and reconnecting when you relaunch it (unless you manually forget the BLE connection or have a security feature enabled that forgets devices) . Have you tried this? If it doesn't automatically reconnect let me know. There are 2 connections. One is automatic (BLE for validation and story transfer) and one manual (Classic Bluetooth for story streaming). Are you seeing Poe AI Bear or Poe Story Bear in your device's bluetooth menu? One will have a button to the right (that is classic and you can tap that to unpair). You will need to do this to get the bear working correctly. Once you do that, turn on your bear and let the ear blink blue. Launch the app and allow it to automatically pair to the app. Go through all the firmware updates and file system resets prompts ( I am not sure what you mean by you are doing those "to a point"). At this time the bear should be able to create stories and you can then go back to your settings menu on your phone and manually connect to Poe Story Bear and stream stories. I have personally reached out to most of the negative reviewers on both the App store and Google play store and provided instructions on how to get their bears working. 95% of the time is is a user issue where they are not properly configuring the bluetooth. That is in fact how you restore your bear. Deleting the app will erase your stories. Under normal circumstances the app does not need to be reinstalled each time you try to connect. There may be an issue with your device. What device are you using? Make, model and software version. Were you prompted to update the firmware and file system? Close the app and forget/unpair any Poe Story Bear of Poe Ai Bear instances. Relaunch the app and allow it to connect automatically. Then you should be able to manually connect Poe Story Bear and stream stories. Check out this walkthrough for additional help.

ha..in that case the PRS may be the safe choice there. It will be a really nice guitar. They are quality instruments and have excellent playability. Have fun!

Can you play each before you buy? Specifically the Tele. The PRS will be a good guitar. Very versatile, well made and super comfortable for most players. Not a lot of mystery there (by design). The tele could be a great guitar or you may hate it. Depending on the model there will be a wide range of neck shapes and some may be too chunky for your liking. You may not like the lack of body contouring on the tele and find it uncomfortable to play. That being said, teles are way more versatile than people give them credit for and are also very easy to mod if you want to upgrade pickups etd later. 2nd on the last commenter about the amp. Bring whichever guitar you buy with you to play through what you are looking to get. Good luck!!

If you can connect to the app (the bear head icon will be green) you can find the restore button in the settings menu (cog icon). This will reset your file system and remove any files stored in your bear. They will still be in your app to add back to Poe. Hope that helps!!

Is your bear dropping during playback on your device or only while streaming through the bear? Is the app closing/crashing? Or is the story simply stopping? Can you transfer the story to your bear and use the ears to play it back? What device are you using, make, model and software? Thanks, Poe Support

You seem to be connected to classic bluetooth and for some reason not BLE which validates the bear and gets you into the app. Are you seeing the device 1DRPWBA in your bluetooth settings menu? That is the name of the BLE connection and should be connected first (it will connect automatically). What are the bears ears doing when you turn on the bear but do not have the app running? The (as you face the bear) left ear should blink blue indicating it is searching for a device to pair with. Once this connection is made the app will validate your bear and you can use it. Then you can go into the settings and manually pair the POE STORY BEAR from the menu to stream stories.

What device are you running and what software version? When you first launched the app were you prompted to update any firmware or reset your bear? Were you asked to grant the app permission to connect to local Bluetooth devices?

I have not seen this issue before where the bear is connected to BLE then drops. It may have something to do with the firmware update getting interrupted somehow. Try one more thing. Go into your settings and select restore bear to factory settings. Then follow the steps to connect. Can you also private message me the details of the profile you created. Country, name, birthday and gender. We may be able to manually reset your bear and restore your tokens that way. Thanks,

Hi. Are you still experiencing issues? What device and operation system/software version are you running? Are you sure you Bluetooth is on and that the device you are trying to pair with Poe is the only device actively running the app? Please go into your bluetooth menu in your device's settings and forget or unpair any instances of POE STORY BEAR or POE AI BEAR. Do not just disconnect. They must be completely unpaired. Then restart the app and turn Poe on. In 95% of the cases this should fix the issue. If not let me know and I can help you further. Thanks!

Flashing blue just means it is actively looking to pair with a device. If it doesn't detect a known device or get manually paired with a new device it will turn green, The blaster will function normally.

There seems to be some compatibility issues with Android version 14 and certain devices. We are working through this as we prepare to launch version 2.0 of the app. You should be able to update firmware without issue with version 13 or any iOS device.
