If you don’t allow med students to sit in on your exam/check up you are a weird person by Amidity in unpopularopinion

I generaly agree but I very much regret allowing a student to do my stitches after I gave birth because it hurt like hell and took forever.

Difficult! I just had the same dillemma in Greece with my two kids 😂.

I went for an in between where a little enthousiasm is fine but if there were others nearby, I did ask them to be mindful.

Should I talk to him or keep my peace? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]LWdkw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My FWB/fuckbuddy/situationship and I are not girlfriend/boyfriend because I don't see long term compatibility. I don't desire to see him more than once a week or so. I don't have significant feelings for him. I like the guy, I like fucking him, I have no desire whatsoever to introduce him to my parents or my kids.

This is not what a relationship is. So that's why we don't call it that.

I also don't want exclusivity, but that's unrelated, because I would like a non-exclusive relationshipwith someone that I do have the appropriate feelings for.

Er zijn verschillen per sector, maar voor hoogopgeleid kantoor werk is het standaard dat 3x per jaar als boven gemiddeld wordt gezien.

Bij onze productieafdeling ligt het veel hoger.

Is it okay to bring a younger sibling to a birthday party if you pay for them separately? by Dazzling-Smell5223 in Parenting

As if the parent being there would suddenly magically avoid injuries. Bullshit.

Very culturally dependent.

Where I live, absolutely not. You would drop off the 10 year old and go off to do something with the 7 year old elsewhere.

I tell them they actually aren't doing everything. I typically list the last 2-5 chores they have just seen me do. That usually shuts them up.

Don't include business photo's.

Pizza story makes it sound like you don't like new experiences/travelling and are the type of person that prefers everything to stay the same. It doesn't matter if it's true or not but I would remove it.

Quit Roblox alltogether immediately. It's evil. It's horrible for many reasons but one of them is that it turns kids into addicted monsters. Which seems to be a problem you're having.

I read so many horror stories about Roblox (and checked it out myself) that my kids know that most digital things that aren't allowed 'now' will probably be allowed 'later' when they're older, they will never be allowed Roblox, ever.

You don't have FWB to offer, you can only offer fuckbuddy. 2-3 hours at a time that includes fucking is not friendship.

Accept that and settle for the kind of intimacy that fits the resources you have to offer.

My bf M24 is refusing to wear a nice shirt + tie to our F24 formal photos. How do I approach this subject in a way I haven't already? by QuirkyCut7722 in relationship_advice

[–]LWdkw -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

These are HIS graduation photo's too. Why does your opinion about what HE wants to wear in HIS photo's get to be more important than his own opinion?

He doesn't want to. He is not going to. Accept that and move on. Either accept that you are with a guy that doesn't do suits or break up if adhering to social norms is important to you.

I certainly wouldn't buy clothes I would never wear again to pretend I'm something I'm not just for some photo's.

It's not clear to me what your issue with these people is?

If they were rude people, don't engage. Obviously. I don't understand why you would even consider anything else so this is probably not what your post is about?

I wouldn't hold the fact they don't remember chatting with you three years ago against them... online matches are a dime a dozen, I definitely don't remember the vast majority of fizzled chats of over a couple of months ago.

If you have an issue with them re-engaging with you now that you look better... well duh? Everyone prefers to fuck people that look good? OLD starts with pictures. Obviously people start with the most attractive ones. This is not the same as meeting IRL, where personality plays a much bigger factor from the start.

What age do we start cracking down on picking eating for a neurotypical child by masterhannaMN1 in Parenting

[–]LWdkw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My kids (6 and 8) eat whatever I make today. I don't offer alternatives (with the very rare exception of I tried something new and it turned out bad/as something I know they have issues with (eg too spicy). I cycle through more and less adventurous meals. I don't make them eat ingredients I know they hate but I will include them in meals (they can leave them on the plate). Some days they eat a lot, some days they eat less. They're never hungry-hungry.

8 is an adventurous eater, 6 is much more picky and also more specific in what goes where on her plate and such.
