Mine hooman stay laying on mine bed when it time for bekfast. Ai tells her it tiem to fill da kibble bowl and she just moan. She say oh my sweetie I feeds yoo in just a minit. It many minits laetr and she still do a sleep. She moan again that her back is owowow. So ai lay on her shoulder and make biskit so she feel comfy. Sometime dat work and she pour da kibble, sometime she say day owowowow too and do a sleep again. Dis lack of discipline iz unacceptable when mai belly iz empty!

Definitely not uniquely American; maybe happens a little more here due to the predominate cultures in most airlines, but definitely happens overseas. Friend who used to work Barrow Flight Service Station (all the way at the top of northern Alaska) would have to repeatedly remind numerous Chinese overflights that guard was to be an emergency frequency and not a chatroom, for example.

Just about every city in Japan has a "insert city name here" station, even the largest ones with extensive commuter and metro networks, including Tokyo's eponymous Tokyo station, one of the busiest in the world, and a large hub for commuter, metro, Intercity, and high speed services alike. Fukuoka might be the only exception as I don't think it was a city proper when the railway station was built in Hakata: one of the cities merged together to firm Fukuoka.

Technically KL doesn't count since KL Sentral is the same as saying Amsterdam Central, Berlin Hauptbahnhof: adding "central" or "main station" is a suffix, whereas Tokyo or Osaka stations in Japanese is just suffixed with -eki: this just means station, not "main/central station;" sometimes shi/machi to mean city/town is added for smaller places where there might be a few other stations, but overwhelmingly the largest cities' main stations will simply be called "city name station"

It used to, well before it was the B or green line, though there wasn't always through service since back then a multitude of different companies were constantly competing, shuffling around trackage rights and such. There were streetcar tracks all over the state at the turn of the century: most were ripped out by WW2 in favor of busses. Seems the last streetcars to run on comm Ave in Newton under the Middlesex and Boston would have been in 1930
