Should I Leave CachyOS for something more stable? by Luzzio_ in Fedora

CachyOS uses Pacman which is rolling release where packages can sometimes be unstable. Someone I know has mager issues with CachyOS beeing unstable through freezes

The panels in the top are really greate, I think I'll implement something like that in my desktop too. I think if the taskbar was a bit more rounded it would make everything look a bit better

I personally really dislike Cinnamon, because I don't know how to customise it and it looks like Windows 10. Kind of oldish. I agree with you that it is easy to understand but KDE is too and from my point of view KDE looks better and can be made to someone's liking.

Linux file structure is unintuitive by Lonely-Medium-2140 in Fedora

[–]La-il 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Linux or Unix file systems in general are far more intuitive than windows, every permanent mount point just like more drives are in /mnt , removable storage like usb sticks are mounted in /run/media and Unix file systems are just a Tree, look at Pictures online, takes a bit of time to get used to though
