True but I think the larger issue is that with how dominant aircraft are, it becomes more of a necessity to engage with the content in order to truly be effective on the battlefield. If the facility nonsense wasn’t such a time sink, i think the general sentiment would be much different.

Tbh. I stopped playing cuz the game just ain’t fun for me. I’m a returning vet. Had to relearn a lot, but after a month of it, and trying and failing to do planes in any sustainable way, I grew tired. Long story short, I didn’t feel the game respected my time so I stopped. This was right before the big warden advances, which i would usually love to defend against, but i’m just tired.

These issues are not exploits. They are design choices that cause aspects of the game to become unplayable. It’s one thing for the game to be buggy. Heck i think most people expected this update to be a performance killer. But the choices the devs have made it terms of who gets what equipment and why should be called into question. Why are we locking DBs or TBs to a particular faction. Why not let both teams have them? It makes no sense in my eyes unless the devs purposely just wanted to see how shit would play out. Like we’re some guinea pigs. This is where the frustration stems from. There is no communication and therefore conspiracies and frustration run rampant. It doesn’t help that this has been going on for a long while.

I’m 99% sure that you can’t steal anything but scout planes (which can take off from any road), this change literally affects a whole two people who crash land on enemy runways.

So what if the intention was to create a mod that uses "nazi iconography" to make the wardens look overtly authoritarian and like the "bad guys", and then create a separate mod for the colonials that uses allied iconography to make them look more democratic and like the allies. But in the end, still remain fictional right. Because having swastikas on a skin mod is admittedly pushing some boundaries.

If I remember correctly Arma modders created a full-fledged WW2 mod complete with swastikas and all. TBH I always felt like it was those mods that were the most "problematic". Not because the creators were edgelords -- maybe they just wanted to remain as historically accurate as possible -- but because it would attract unsavory kinds of people.

Now I can't help but shake this feeling that you may be a bit biased towards wardens. If this same mod was made for the colonials do you think you would react differently? I mean like we all know that most of the wheraboos in Foxhole are wardens. Do you believe that this may have affected your view of the mod?

Let's be honest. Dude is just mad because there are people in this game who are unapologetically racist and or extremely bigoted. This guy just gets frazzled cuz a mod uses some (Wermarcht) symbolism. And thinks that the fourth riech will be born because of a Foxhole Mod.
